Fight for Justice

After I built my Harry Potter dueling club level I went and designed a one player version of the battle system, then I forgot about it.

Fast forward to the other day and I decided to finish it, I quickly added an intro and two endings and thought up a short story to go along with it, so here it is:

Fight for Justice...

Its basically just a short battle level, with an attack and a block. You get more points the faster you win and 47 points (oddly...) if you lose.

I'll do my F4F's as soon as I can, but I don't get on every day so it might take a couple of days.:p

very interesting concept! the logic must be complex! :boo: it's not my kind of thing but you did a good job so i give it :star::star::star::star:! hopefully we'll see an improved version in lbp2? :confused:

lol either one, i don't care. :p i'm going to be updating both of them when i get the time so i just want as much feedback to work with as possible :)

Hey man I just played your level an here is my personal review.

The levels small story is very creative along with the characters and the fighting is incredible. The visualization of the levels is really good many the use of the 3D you put on the level just made it even better. The only thing is that the fighting only has 2 moves a block and a attack and is very easy to block her attacks and win the match (I think you can make it better in LBP2 wend you have the controlinator)

I really liked the concept. Great work on the characters and the fight scene was above average. I thought it was fun and worthy of a 5 star rating. Great job :)

Hi Sack racer, and thanks for your review of my level.

I really liked the concept of your level, and your corner editing in the characters was great. Nice health meter, worked really well, but after having a look at a couple of your other levels, I noticed that you have already done one of these style games already (Harry Potter dueling club) It's a shame you didn't progress with the idea. Your apponent seems to fire at regular intivals with plenty of time to press block and it all felt a little slow.I'm trying to think about what I'd suggest to make it feel more involved. Maybe the characters could move back and forth when sack boy does? The attacks could be hand to hand close qarters AS WELL as magic? (Would need a longer regeneration time on your spell to encourage people to move in close....now Briefly thinking about how to go about that is 'fairly' easy, look up 'Vehicle tools: tilt and motion sensor and control pod' by Sehven. The control pod would be PERFECT!

GREAT idea, nice looking, though actual game play a little limited. 4 stars.

Originally I made it easy because people complained about the other one (Harry Potter dueling club) being too hard, and I didn't want to get rage quits. But i think I'll make it harder, and maybe add another attack, and have the characters react to getting hit. I'll post again when I've updated it.:p

Hello, responding to the F4F here :)

I liked this level, I really liked it. The battle system was pretty impressive although it only had attack and block. I hope you make a more advanced battle system in LBP2 because there you could have different buttons for different attacks and better logic for health and strenght and that stuff. The visuals here were pretty impressive, nice work on the characters. I really would have liked a bit more, maybe more attacks and a little harder and longer battle, something to make it feel more epic.

Anyway, I did enjoy this for what it was and I gave you 5 stars :)

The concept is really unique!
I especially loved the movie scenes.
The whole thing felt a little incomplete, like it should be the epic finale to a level (or a series of levels) which I guess would be my only real criticism.

I think you could do something really fantastic with this idea in LBP2.

Ok I tried the level, I loved how the level was built with the background and everything, it felt awesome, The character blair I think was his awesome looked awesome, he looked like some cool evil wizard, though the wizard you were supposed to used look kinda like a superhero, but thats not a bad thing XD.

I liked the scenery, background etc, in the fight, was a little slow but it was fun and well made ^_____^, I liked how the lightning would follow the thunder ball when you shoot it, it looked awesome. I wish It could have been longer, maybe the fights a little faster or maybe like a story, RPG kind of thing, other than those things it was awesome I liked it =).

I gave it 5 stars and a heart, and tagged it Brilliant or Great I think it was >_< I forgot . Great Job =)
