It's an Arriflex SR2 - and one that's seen a TON of action. It's unbelievable how BURLY those things are! You could throw them into a **** tumble-dry cycle and they'll still come out kicking.
Also, if you find yourself on a shoot that hires a stills photog (always worthwhile), talk to the dude beforehand - stills photogs and camera team get along famously because they're all camera nuts! Make sure the dude/gal looks out for you and gets some epic op shots.
And regarding your gaffer-gig - Man, I SO know the feeling! It's the tragedy of the electrical department, that they can only look at the camera in longing. I've spent enough days as a grip-electric to know that feeling personally. I recently worked on an interview shoot that shot on dual RED ones. I would have loved to op the crane RED, but alas, I sat behind the 20-by and twiddled thumbs while eating crafty during the interview.
the flipside is that I've opped handheld gigs with heavy rigs and steadicam shots that made me CRAVE the grip's job flying apples and c-stands.
On this particular shoot (in the photo) I was the DP and operated only some shots. Most of the shoot was operated by our cam op, but without a video assist, it kind of freaks me out to be shooting as a cinematographer and not be able to see what's going through the film. Although the funny thing about a reflex viewfinder is that the operator only sees exactly what's NOT being exposed while the camera's rolling, so in a way we're all in the same boat.
Wow, so I'm horrifically off-topic now.
Thanks everyone for the comments on the photo! If I come across any other cool on-set photos, I'll throw them out there. I actually really wish I had some of me working the grunt jobs as an electric rigging lights to ceilings and hoisting 6Ks outside 3-story windows, but such photos do not exist.
Haha yeah this thread is awesomely off topic now.
Gaffers and pirates FTW!
Would love to see more on-set photos though, keep them coming!
Teebonesy, I'm the only lonely cowboy here!

It's not a great photo. This was after we got stopped because the place was getting wrecked... Hence the boring lack of movement..... And i hate my short hair i had in that....
edit: I'm on the left, and that was over a year ago...
Here's one of me from the other day with my kids.
Just so everyone can recognise me at the Eurogamer EXpo :) (if you have forgotten what I look like ;))

chez, I totally didn't expect you to be so outgoing as to post a picture like that! It's so hair-raising, there'll be hell toupee if anyone does the same! That's on the fringe of normal, really, it is. Bar-ber faced nudity, that's the limit. Ill stop now, these hair puns are mohican live up to (who is "he", I don't know, but it was a close shave for him this time)
