I'm almost done fixing up all the problems I could find in my tech demo before I claim it publishable. However, while I looked into what I put in for players to try out, I'm afraid I may not have enough.
So before I publish the demo, I'd like to ask those who would be interested what you'd like to try out in zero gravity?
I'm not talking about 0% gravity in the global settings, but actual zero gravity!

Explosive mines, thrown around in zero grav.
Water sounds like an interesting thing to test out, person with the super-inappropriate signature.
As for the explosives, Alexxerth, I'll see if it'll be user-friendly(er) in zero-gravity. Come to think of it, I'd really hope so!
Any other ideas, anyone else, before I continue working on the demo, if not finish it up, the next day or night?
Zero gravity isn't all that fun. For low gravity, I suggest 0.1-0.3

Quite simple, actually! You just need some anti-gravity tweakers, one for basic movement and one for jumps. For the latter, you'll need to hook the X button to it and tweak the Dampening. Otherwise, you'll take off at the speed of sound when you jump.Quote:

But theres this awesome level I think it was in Donkey Kong or Kirby, where the Gravity lifted the water and basicly floated in Air (Looked like a Bubble) and you had to basicly jump form Bubble to bubble (While swiming inside them to go up) in other words.
Your swiming in Bubbles that are floating as you go up, I think it was on kirby...but my god if this is possible I wanna do it, Water barely gets any attention when it comes to platforming =/ Atleast in lbp it barely does.
Unfortunately, water pellets are destroyed when they touch anything physical, so it's impossible for one to walk on them, at least without a load of logic and possibly holograms.Quote:

Not exactly related to space, but I may consider it still. If you give feedback on the tech demo, still, I'll try to make that gun and either give it to you or, with your permission, of course, place it somewhere in the demo as an update.Quote:

Once I finish getting a couple more pins and such, I'll continue working on the demo. Credit will be given to those who have suggested these ideas and any more in the future that are suitable for zero-gravity.
Although this could be done with players too, I think a Sackbot where you could slap it off something, fire something at it (like water from a creatinator), etc. and seeing how it reacts in zero gravity could be interesting. Although you'd probably need to spawn the Sackbots since they'd die as soon as they ever land in the water you'd have in the level Bloo_boy suggested.
Well I was planning a Crysis-based game in LittleBigPlanet and the zero-grav would help for the alien space ship map, if it works right.
I would add destructible objects that float around when broken and maybe some sort of "boost" that you could enable which would push you in a certain direction.
Also, the ability to "rotate" around would be REALLY cool, maybe the camera could follow the rotation aswell?
