well Lord of the Rings is a very large series packed with content, we already have excluded certain things from the book. I'm not going to put something on the front page that isn't certain yet.

Yes fine but if I want to help out I want to know a little more...
Then ask away.
I have qued your level and I will try it next time I get the chance to play w/ someone.
EDIT: Though I see that Brian recently played it.
I'd like to help :D
Use the application forms then :kz: lol.
It is I, doggydog297, costume designer and logician extrodinare I am currently aiding in another project, which is nearly complete and would take pressidence, but I find myself with a large amount of free time. If you could give me some more specifics on the project, I may be willing to help.
I'm sorry but i think I have to jump off this project since I'm too busy with other stuff. I may make my own lotr levels later though.
I would love to join but is it in lbp or lbp2. And if lbp I could do scenery if not I can't help until I buy lbp2:(
Ive taken quite a long break from lbp, partly due to getting a job working for a games studio. However im looking to getting back into it in my spare time and a project like this is just what im after! So . heres my application:
PSN ID: Fatedheart
Do you own a microphone and/or Keyboard?: [Yes/No] Yes/Yes
What individual talents do you have in creating?:[List and Provide Specific Examples if Possible]:
Designing/creation of scenery, Gameplay implementation, logic (to a degree), Adding "fun"!
Mainly my talents lie in creativity, designing gameplay elements and helping them all meld together. Additionally i love creating the "little" details that add nothing to the gameplay but make it look so much better.
What are some of your levels?:
No idea right now, not logged on in a while, Possibly create one tonight for the purposes of demoing to yourselves.
What other talents do you think will assist the team?:
Keen knowledge of all things fantasy :D
Okay! Well I'll see your level if its finished ^.^
Just to update, im half way through the demo level, its mainly just a pretty environment at the moment (doing a small chunk of helms deep seige. So what im going to do is see how much i can get done today, and i might just publish it as an art demo instead of a gameplay feature and see what you think.
Okay, good to know.
Just to add, for more artistic representations of the sort of stuff i do, you can check out my two level hubs (the levels have been taken down as i dont feel they represent my best work).
http://lbp.me/v/2rdg-8 That ones something i did when bored (also for "sackville" project i lent it out as an extra building)
http://lbp.me/v/x97chg level hub for my AiW series, again this one is just an example of artistic style, not gameplay.
Update :
I decided what i was doing wasnt good enough, so im attempting something different, however it is taking a while longer (hopefuly for good reason!) but it should be worth it.
Watch this space :D
Ill help if you have any open spaces
Anyways, I'll let you know now.
I own both a usb keyboard and a microphone
I have thorough knowledge of logistics (more specifically sackbot logistics) and, with time, can design nice scenery
I am currently working on a Call of Duty: Online project
And if I get time, I may get my hands on a 1/8 inch to usb converter, so by using an audio cable, I can hook up my laptop to the ps3 as a microphone, meaning I can edit music on my laptop and tyen directly intsert it into the game. This is not 100%, but there is still a good chance i can get that adapter
