I came accross the HD remake of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee today because I love this game and I am excited that they're bringing it to the Playstation 3. So I was thinking: What if somebody could recreate this game with either sackbots or animations? I'd love to see this come to life :] I would be so happy and if anybody could do this right surely would be MM Picked :D

Sadly, I don't know of anyone making an Oddworld tribute at the moment...
Hi, it's a great game and I'm sure it would be fun to play a remake of it. However, as far as I know, it would use a lot of thermo (many "rooms", different backgrounds...), which means a whole lot of levels, and it would take ages to make. But if a team worked on it, why not :p Would probably have to "LBPfy" it a lot and perhaps add some multiplayer zones or something. :)
I highly doubt lbp2 is strong enough to handle abes oddesey.
I am currently working on a LBP2 Oddworld series. I have the gamespeak, mudokons, and Abe figured out. I need some help with possessing the slig. Sackboy is in a controlinator so he can control Abe's (sackbot) commands. I have the slig as a dressed up sackbot. How can i switch from controlling Abe to the slig?:confused:
You could place a microchip on each sackbot with one part of a two-output picker linked to it to decide whether or not it should be controlled. The microchip would have the sackbot's controlinator inside. Switch Abe's and the slig's microchips to the opposite of each other to control one at a time, as long as this works out like I hope it does.Quote:
