Usually, movies from games suck. But that's mostly because they let Uwe Boll direct them. They are making a Metal Gear Solid movie, so I was thinking about games that should become movies. Obviously, a good story is a must. And uniqueness is important too. Games like COD4 wouldn't work, at least to me - they're just another shooter. Bioshock's name has been thrown around a lot. Would God of War work? Any other ideas?
I wouldnt mind a MGS movie but i want to to be like a anime style movie, i think it would suck with real actors, but they have made some great movies before with animation like the final fantasy move, sadly it has absolutely nothing to do with the game but it still was a good movie
how about a game like kingdom hearts... sure itd b a kiddy movie but it could b good!

and a BioShock movie has been confirmed and is somewhere in the writing phase i think
There will be a Street fighter movie
and i cant think of any others right now, oh but there are rumors of a GOW movie too
uncharted maybe? the characters were great but the twist was clichéd. ressistance would be good.

Anyway, I think Heavenly Sword would be great as a movie. In fact they should of made it a film in the first place, not a game. It has a great story and acting; it also has great characters.
It's one of the only games that I think would really work as a movie. Any others would seem a bit weird, but hey, with a good director and mindset who knows? :)
I think a Metal Gear Movie would go one of two ways ;

Bioshock-Would Be Awesome. Uncharted-Pretty Good. MGS4-Epic, if made right. Motorstorm would be unique if they take the "festival" experience and blowing-up racing. If they made it right. Would have to make a story too.
Motorstorm would make a very nice race movie. And I don't think its Metal Gear Solid 4... It's either the first one, a new one or a compilation..Quote:
