Man I wish I could just play on a safe online game without cheaters, hackers, ETC everywhere. :/

Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but apart from cheating on the high score with a ridiculous amount, how exactly does someone in this machine "destroy" your levels? Messing around like this apparently doesn't leave any permanent damage. I am assuming someone entering my level using this glitch is not interested in playing my level the way it is supposed to be played in the first place; that is his loss, not mine.

You are all quite mistaken actually.
I did not tell Jimmy how to do the glitch, nor did I make that confusing and really stupid tutorial level.
Ages ago, Jimmy and a few other glitchers started working out a way to get The Overlord Glitch, and were successful. A friend of mine told me Jimmy and some others had worked out the glitch themselves so I went to join them to see if it was true, and yes it was. I then gave them the warning not to abuse it as you will end up ruining the game, and breaking the EULA in the process, and to definatly not tell anyone else how to do it, or else it'll just spread like wildfire.
They all agreed not to, including Jimmy, but he said he's 'leaving' PSN soon so he couldn't care less if he got banned or not.
Later on, I get more news that my H.B CRUISER (that flying power house thing) had somehow been stolen off me, which was odd. I never saw anyone physically copy it, but yet again I do know of a glitch which let's people in a game who are not host, save the level to their own moon. Who knows. Jimmy aparently didn't copy it, but he is disributing it.
He then decides to make a tutorial level for the glitch, and the add-on tool bundled in. Warning him again, he ignored. The level got moderated though which is good, or he just got sense and took it down, but like others have said, too late. It's out & around now.
But to clarify, I did not tell him or anyone else to do the glitch. I did not give him the H.B CRUISER. I did not make that, or any other tutorial levels. He must of put my name in the title. for credit, or just to put the wrap on me.
As for lethalising checkpoints: It will not 'proof' your levels. If you make yourself lethal to the hazard on the checkpoint, you become immune. You could use logic to set it to switch between all 3 fast. but even then you are at risk of preventing others from playing your levels.
I have 2 solutions to 'proofing' your levels. One will prevent highscores from being uploaded (for levels which don't use highscores this should be used), the other will simply stop the glitch being useable in levels. I shall publish them soon for others.
As for being patched, I actually did help Mm out, giving them full instructions on how to re-create it, the side effects, and soon will tell them how to reverse the glitch.

Hello,
Thanks very much for your profile and this extra info, it’s helped us re-create the issue onsite!
Thanks very much for the help!

They can't do any damage. I don't really care about the highscore issue. If they want to get the highscore on my levels, go ahead.
Like I said, my main issue with this is when people give it away, publicize game breaking glitches, etc. Cause then MM has to spend their time and resources to fix this, instead of other issues they could enhance the entire community, not just stopping a few cheaters.
Oh well, too late now. Hopefully, they can fix it soon so they can get back to work on fixing more important issues.
To us, on the outside, it may appear that MM is in over their heads on an issue like this one. But how do we know? Maybe they are fixing an exploit every week before the community has ever gotten a chance to find it. I wouldn't want them to stop using their resources on that.
There is a rotten core in the community that will use any tool at their disposal to grieve others; be it boos, spam, hateful reviews, stealing objects, whatever. It is not a nuclear bomb placed in a town's square with a big red button on it that is the cause of a community's decline as much as it is the group of people willing to push that button with no qualms. If we let MM deal with the game exploits, let us in the community deal with the question what to do against the red button pushers.
We probably cannot deal with the obnoxious directly and effectively, but as a community we can create a save haven for the players who do have good intentions, a positive attitude and creative energy.
I regret sharing any info about this here
like blowing up someones pod would matter, its not hard to pause game go to profile and click reset pod decoration...
:kz: Guess I won't be Diving in anymore...
EDIT: Question. Can they enter Locked Levels?
I cant wait untill this glitch corrupts profiles.

Easiest way I can think of to stop this machine thing being able to do anything in your levels, depending how your level works, is to place an array of holo around the entrance with impact sensors to detect any unusual movement and link those to game enders.
Wait? So you tell them not to manipulate the uses of this glitch, then you go and play like 15 or so levels getting the highscore, taking pictures of everything being blown up, and then leave a review saying something like: "Hazbell has destroyed. Maximum score of 4,000,000 attained." as if to gloat, and assume by telling Mm how to fix it you're off the hook? Honestly I appreciate you turning around but its a little ridiculous in my opinion.
Heres a picture as well from the Hansel and Gretelbot series.

Sorry that sounded really rude, I just need to vent. The glitch really doesn't effect the level as a whole so really no serious harm done. But really, it does seem like a bit of a hypocritical move.
That thing... it's evil! absolutely evil! I can't believe someone would create such a thing...
Hmmm, sure could use this to ace those last few levels.. :p
In a world of happiness and creativity, darkness looms. A scientist, Hazbell, with his latest experiments, creates a powerful biological weapon that spreads its infection like a virus. He names it "Overlord". He realizes the danger of his creation, and keeps it quarantined. A group of terrorists who have always sought to see this amazing world turn to chaos and anarchy, led by Jimmy, has learned of this powerful weapon. They undergo a project to recreate Overlord, and succeed. Hazbell tries to warn Jimmy of the power of this weapon and tells him never to release it to the world. They agree, but later Hazbell discovers that they had disregarded his warning and have unleashed Overlord, which threatens everything good.
Hazbell is framed for the catastrophe and is a wanted man. Jimmy is taken down by the government, but it is too late, Overlord has already spread. As citizens rush to fight of this infection, Hazbell then sides with government and tells them all about his creation to help them figure out how to destroy the virus. Will this infection be neutralized, or is this world that once full of fun doomed?
Sorry, had to do that :D
