The NEW Crown Glitch

I have no idea if anyone has posted a thread about this already so i'm going to make one about it. I have come across a level that, mindblowingly, transforms your costume to the crown and the rare littlebigplanet PSP t-shirt. this must be patched, we dont want people running around with a crown, do we? Its time people need to get off their lazy butts and create something good, EARN their crown. not using some cheap glitch to get it. the best part of the crown is the honor and accomplishment of EARNING it.

YAY shirt! nooo! free crown D:? I thought this was patched already. I would HATE to see Some awful H4H people running around wearing those. D: Makes me worried. I like the shirt though :P

It's interesting how this is possible but it is. Something that should be pointed out, however, is the fact that the crown is only visible until the game is reloaded or the costume is changed. In order to reequip it, you would need to replay the level again. I think the level has been locked since then tho.

You mean, your costume is detected and is worn by a Sackbot but a crown is added on it? :boo: If so, then this is an interesting glitch, I definitely could use it!

Wouldn't it better NOT to leave a link to the level? (And PM a admin/mod/whoever would be best to inform)

Otherwise this'll just explode the community with faux rares again, best keep it quiet no?

The level has been locked. ;)

First of all guys don't panic :p you guys not even ask a basic quastions, just start panicing

Major quastion, do costume stays on sackboy? personally this sounds like a very starnge bug, there is no logic allowing ot change player costumes

The level has been reopened recently and is trending fast on LBP.me

Some people claim this to be an old glitch that someone else discovered awhile back but never released to the community.

I played it (don't worry, I reset the costume so I lost it, purposefully) and the bad thing is that it actually works........we need to get MM to patch this, or shut down the level, or something! Who knows what can of worms this could be opening.....also notice how quickly it takes effect, you know how your personal sack thing shows up for the ratings? Well you show up with a crown in the ratings part, so that says it's in the level, I think.

Seriously, guys, we gotta get MM to notice this, if they haven't already

Is it include the beta goodies like the vest and the hazmat? The glitch has returned ¬_¬

Easy, tell them to wear XXX skin then Crown. That's how you tell if it's legit or not

Well this is another big one MM's gotta patch asap since this glitch will apply to ALL DLC not just the rares

This is not good at all.
When I was a lad, the Rare Prize Crown had to be earnt! nowadays, these fraudulent costumes spoil its name.

thought I would also mention.
Wearing this version of the crown does NOT unlock the 'royalty' pin... so be safe in knowing that the true royals will always be safe :)

If anyone here actually cares about the value of the crown and/or knows the crown glitch and how it works please pm me. I can contact Spaff directly and hopefully it will be brought to his attention.

Edit: I'm talking to the people who know the logistics of the glitch. Not just the basics.
