This needs to be patched even though it's just a costume. If psp shirt is dlc, and people are getting it for free... that means anyone who could do this glitch could do it with any dlc. Just pointing that out.

people who dont see value in the crown, it is actually a sign as too what has been accomplished (look at the last 2 crown contests, coming on 3!) people work for hours and months to get a crown, how do they feel after when 98 % of the community has it. the glitch isn't that hard to do, (no instructions but it involves going back in time if you know what i mean ;) ) which means if somone else wanted to they could more or less ruin craftys ideas. being make them play my level hundreds of times a day and get (as of now) over 9000, no reference intended. point being the crown is like a reward for trying and succeding, and because of all the levels the new people of lbp are back to thinking "oh that weird crown dlc?? that was from lbp 1 right? my friend said it was in gardens or sumthin, idk oh what its a rare prize? no it isn't i got it 9 times " its become another "costume that mm never gave us" thing, im surprised no one had used that name yet. mm didn't want half the community wearing crowns. there was a reason. also, mods. if you want to know how its done, or if you want to try and think of a way against it, im all ears, shadowreaver PM if you dont know how, it may be needed for the get satisfaction post, though im not entirely sure. anyway, something i learned from all of this is that, people will allways be the same, they want what they dont earn and the mass of the population (or community) will allways support those who give what is wanted regardless of consquences.
So, when is this level going to be patched or whatever you call it. A lot of people already reported it and it's still up and switching from closed to open.
I leave PSN for a few days & it gets leaked out to the public-_- wonder who spread it to him probably sour or deamonic....
it was well known by quite a few so dont flatter yourself :)
Now that LBPC is back online.....
When I learned it only 5 people knew it & I was the one who brought the Crown & Week 1 Tshirt from 1.00 to 1.05 1st.(But I wasn't stupid enough to spread it or tell people about it)Quote:

oh my - what a scene i've caused xD - the glitch was bound to get leaked eventually anyway - you should be greatfull ive not given the actuall item away and that ive set the level up the way ive done - otherwise we'd have loads of players ps3s freezing
You should have hidden how it was done, I saw pictures of the level with people on the elastic, so I'm guessing people saw the rest & if not is it that hard to figure it out...I made mine so no one can see anything about how it is done.Quote:

I don't really understand why there is such a massive concern over this. What difference does it make that people you don't know and will never meet are going around with crowns/etc. I always thought it was the act of receiving a crown, and not the actual wearing of it, that people hope for. It's just something to make you feel good about yourself anyway, so other people having it....so what?
The DLC is another matter though. That's paid for items that people get for free.
Don't get me wrong, I'm against sharing glitches like this, but it seems people are overreacting.
i think its ok to share how the glitch looks like but its wrong to give away the glitch.
or tell how to do the glitch.
The crown itself, much like a heat itself, is stupid and meaningless, and yes... Fairly useless. It is the act of getting a crown from Mm that is valuable. It's a simple costume piece. But the actual recognition is what these people who are glitching crowns will never have. Years of glitch finding will never earn you what a few months of hard creating will. I hope you enjoy your moment in the spot light, troll. I really hope you do. Because it will fade. soon. Compher, Poms, Morgana, Steve big guns.... Their spot light will never fade. Because they made something worth remembering.

O noes! The rare crown has been released! MM please patch it! Btw, when I went to this random level, I got crown but it made me feel guilty so I deleted it when I went back to pod. Then my friend played it and got the crown! He keeps talking about it and I got very mad so I reported him as a lier and crown stealer. This has got to stop or otherwise LBP2 will be as bad as LBP when the first scam showed up.

I think #3, it will be included in the scoreboards patch BECAUSE the crown glitch takes advantage of the Overlord glitch. (The new one.) So, yeah.
The crown is not kept after you reboot LBP so it is not permanent. You can grief if you want but MM won't be taking action as I am pretty sure that Sony handles griefs. Mm is also working on the move pack and after they are "stepping away" from LBP.
You can probably expect a fix in patch.
Chill its only been "discovered" for about 2 days or so.
MM is aware of it, but they can't make a patch to fix it overnight, but they are pretty quick when a DLC bypass glitch has been discovered (this is actually the third one i think, these things apply to ALL DLC but its just the rare DLCs that are exploited) its usually around a week or 2 when a patch is made to fix it, which is quite a fast response IMO.
The good grief can work on elimintating these levels (it did to the first one) since these levels are a bannable offense (and will most likely lead to account and system bannings to these level makers) but unfortunatly it takes awhile (since it took 2 days to take down the original)
Personally if you are the sociable type on LBP, I think you should just take a break from the game, since 90% of conversations in-game is basically going to be about this. (Which is what I'm doing, i need a break from my project and Maples got some big new content thats pique my interest)
maybe mm could do something nice when reporting a glitch,like a free costume?
