Yeah I know. People tell me that I just need to draw more, but I draw once in a blue moon. I barely draw. I'm better at copying other cartoons and drawing stuff from my own imagination, but when I draw people. They either come out looking deformed or like a lifeless doll. Humans are my weakness I guess you could say (Ha!). What would you say is yours?Quote:

This is an example of something I used a reference to draw, looks alot better than my "straight from the head" drawings doesnt it? It helps to improve skills such as posing, shading, lighting, etc.

Tracing? Nah that takes NO skill. What I do I just print a picture or look at a picture on a screen and then I draw it. That's what I mean by copying. Really nice drawings btw :) What I actually did once was I drew a notebook on my lap and my hand in my drawing drawing a note book in my lap. I only did two layers. Got lazy :P ANYWAY, yes, I really like your drawings. You have talent!! Really nice shading too :) I'm.....meh at it :)
