You don't automatically get respect. You earn it.
Now I've had but one infraction, so I imagine I'm on this list. I'm behaving regardless, being a fairly good member (not so much tolerating the junior high maturity of some people here), and doing my piece of making people feel welcome.
My two cents/euros/drachma/whatever currency you'd like as we're a very diverse, worldly group. :)
Alright, I've removed the phrase "respect" from the rules. It's been replaced with one that's a little more focused:If you find yourself in trouble for breaking the rules, please take a step back and figure out what you did wrong before you decide to argue.
It's a different rule, but in almost every instance we've had, the user in question had argued against the decision without really deciding if they had broken the rules or not.
