G'day!

Hiya, just joined the forum and thought I should introduce myself. Discovered LBP a couple of months ago when we got a PS3 and was trying to find a game my 6 year old daughter might like. Downloaded the demo, played it with her, loved it, hired LBP from the video store (which ended up being returned a week late lol). So then went and bought both 1 and 2. Pretty much play it every day. My three kids play it, and I've even managed to get my non-gaming husband into it, too!

Hi Stormi71 and welcome to LBPC! Glad you found us! I was the same way. Rented LBP1 for my daughter and I to play, played for and hour, took it back and went and bought it. Been playing it ever since. This is a great site to meet other LBP enthusiast and there are a ton of us *gasp* older players here and this is also a resource filled site. Tons of tutorials to help you out in Create mode. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Most people here are really nice and more than happy to help out. Look forward to seeing you around and I hope you have fun and enjoy your time here.

Glad to have you here. We bought LBP 1 for our (at the time) 6 years old to play also. Now 2 PS3's later LBP2 and now move , our whole family is still loving it.
First comes the game then comes the creating!! :)

There are also couples here...Lady_Luck__777 is my wife. And seriously, how could anyone (with a soft heart that is) not like a little Sack person running around in a level filled with stuff to grab and bubbles to burst ;). Mm, the creators of this game, had us pegged, knowing full well that once we played the game with our children, we would be hooked. It is a great game for the entire family, and when you venture into creating, your children, and you, and hopefully your husband, will enjoy it even more.

Feel free to ask us for help getting around the site. Also, there are a lot of very talented individuals that are members here, so check out the monthly Community Spotlights, as well as the Spotlight Archives, for some awesome levels to play. There are also more levels in the Level Showcase that have recently been published.

Thanks guys for the welcome . Oh yes, we already do creating, although I can't get my head around logic just yet. My daughter always wants to create homes and discos, so that we can "role play" in them lol.
I think Santa might have to bring a Move for Christmas!

Happy to have you here at LBPC! It's always nice having new members join. :)

There's so many friendly people here so if you have any questions then always feel free to ask any of us and we'll try to help in the best way we can. There's always people here eager to help out LBPC'ers. :)

This is actually my favorite site and it'll always be my main forum I'll visit, and as I see everyone else make efforts to make this site lovely for us such as the Contest Crew, the Spotlight Crew, the wonderful and nice Mods, our awesome Admin. I just love this site, and I've had fun here as long as I've been here. So I'm pretty sure with all the awesome stuff here you'll have the same fun as all of us here. :)

This is a great place to find great friends, find tutorials, and just generally have fun with contests and posting.

If you're looking for a great level to play, this would be the places to go: LBPCentral Spotlight Archive for endless awesome levels. Or if you wanna play new levels posted in the Level Showcase to play them, or even review them! Whatever your desire, head on into the Level Showcase section. If you have a Level you'd like to get some feedback on, then you need to post it in the Level Showcase also. You just might even get a Spotlight! Who knows all the possibilities here at LBPC and in the LBP world? They're endless! :frightened:

Also, if you're looking for a friendly competition then you should join in on the monthly contest (thanks to the awesome Contest Crew). Just be sure to read up on the rules for it and the basic requirements so you'll be fully informed on the contest.
Although I think the deadline is November 15th (The Dark Side Of Disney (Contest #4), but since there's a new Contest revealed each month then you can always enter those if you want, not to sound pushy. Just want to give you the full site intuition. With each Contest, I think it's always posted in the Site Contests section of the forum. :D

hey stormi, so glad you joined us!! i've been playing this game since LBP1 game of the year edition came out, so for a long long time. but still i'm not so great at creating but i love to play play play and i love finding new great levels. so if you like i can recommend some great levels for you, also just take a look around the Forums and there is endless talk about all kinds of awesome levels. have fun!!
