The Pod Design Contest #15!

Hello everyone I'm back! did you actually thought I was gone forever! i just needed a break! (a 5 month break....) well anyways I'm back and better than ever! I'm so sorry that I left lbpc for such a long time but im back.

Now since I just came back I dont have a title logo for the thread so I have to make due and use a crappy version which is typing it done.

Also! for the next couple of weeks I will give away XP but soon I will give away 5$ amazon cards, games, and other goods that I get my hands on :p

Welcome to The Pod Design Contest, here you will be ask to create a Pod and decorated with the following theme every 2 will be a different theme. Here can show off your Pod designing skills and see which one will come out on top.

Every 2 weeks a new Theme will be added and the previous thread will be lock. Once the next round starts , a new Theme will be posted, and the winners from the previous round shall be announced.

I know, I know this is an old theme but one I LOVE steampunk and I kind of forgot how to make the logos O_0
Anyways the contest starts on November 26 and ends on December 10

OMG OMG OMG!!! I'M SO VERY HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :D my favorite conteste is here and now i have to have inspiration has come back because i think it would be a good creative levels yes i'm immensely happy creating pods :rolleyes:

Dangit, I've set out on a ps3 fast until the christmas break so I won't be able to make it into this contest, but man I'm glad you brought it back, I hope to see some unique pods in the meantime though :D I am damaz and I approve this return of a contest

I always liked the Pod Design Contest, it's ashame I never participated, but I hope to do so in some of these rounds, and what better time to start entering when I can than its reboot? So here's my entry.

For my entry, I created a Steampunk Train station. The middle of course, are the train tracks, with luggage on the side, and telephones on the metal walls. Also, there are some clocks above, with different times for different regions due to all the travelling for some. I was going to add a train, but making it in the pod was frustrating. My friend helped me make a train outfit, but I decided to just not put a train in the end.

Here is the costume for my entry, he's an engineer/luggage boy, as you can see since he's next to the luggage.

Sorry this round didn't get many entries, I do hope it gets a lot with the upcoming rounds :D

How do we post our pods if we do not have a capture card?

you don't need a capture card. take an in game pic. upload it. then go to your lbp.me profile and find the pic. click on it, click on it again. It should be the only thing in your browser. copy the URL, come here and in the post toolbar you will see an icon of a picture frame with a tree in it. click on that, paste your URL and hit OK

What better way to return to LBP than through a contest :p

Nice contest, very good idea actually. How did you get rid of this? This contest is amazing, but can't apply this time, I'll go for the next one.

Should I get a $20 or $10 because I'm feeling kind of generous so I'm kinda still falling towards the $10...?

EDIT: Hey Arnald, if you could extend the end of the contest to the 26th of December than I can defiantly say I will give you the $10 PSN card :)

Made an industrial era spaceship. Two cannons surround the center sitting area and console, allowing you to most efficiently progress from combat to your tea-break (or coffee, if you're so inclined). Defended by steel plate and thick steel bars, this small ship is the epitome of secure space flight.

Very cool design. The metal walls, calm floor design, and background/planet/moon designs sort of give it a steampunk-in-space kinda feeling.
