My Earth arrow problem, please help..

Remember the keys from LBP1 would show arrows all over your Earth, showing what levels were linked in the old fashioned way? Well I can't get rid of them!

I've deleted the keys from my levels a long time ago and have no links going on whatsoever- yet the arrows remain and make everything look ugly as hell.

For some reason I even have arrows coming from an LBP2 level going to ancient LBP1 levels.

If anyone has any suggestions how to clear up this mess I'd appreciate it a lot! More than a lot! Loads!

Are the keys still present in the Tools Bag part of your Popit? I believe you can delete them which may make the arrows disappear, I can't think of what else you could do short of republishing the level or deleting it.

I thought keys stayed forever... That way you never have to go back to a level and recollect them. But I don't know. I deleted all the actual levels I had keys in when LBP2 came out. But I still had the arrows, too until I deleted them. If you don't mind losing the play/heart count, I would just get rid of them and republish without any keys in them.

Yeah I think keys also reference a location not a level so if you publish a different locked level in the same space it will still be unlocked to people that got the key.

Don't know where I read that, and it could be horribly wrong but yeah, maybe move the level an publish a blank one in the same spot. Then delete it.

I tried to get rid of my arrows too, and I couldn't figure out how. I took the keys out of all my old levels and republished in LBP1, no use. But, I think that other people won't see those arrows unless they've collected the key. So if you took the keys out of your levels, anyone who plays since that time won't see the lines.

I published a couple of levels to test this out. The first level had a key in it which unlocked the second level.

Deleting the key from the level and republishing had no effect. Deleting the key from the Tools Bag had no effect. Republishing over both levels had no effect. It seems only by deleting one of the levels can you get rid of the arrows that connect them.

For other people's levels, yes, but you can delete your own level keys from your Tools Bag. As the publisher you can play your own locked levels regardless if you've collected the key or not.
