My game won't save!

I recently downloaded the Metal Gear level pack and at some point while playing that, my game completely quit saving. Whenever I boot up, it shows that I have two of the levels completed, but I still have all my trophies.

A while earlier, it told me I had too many complicated things which may cause problems, but I deleted a bunch of stuff and the game has saved a number of times since then. So, everything I've done up til now is still there and I have no problems loading it, but anything I do disappears as soon as I shut the game off.

Also, pretty near when this started happening, a noise that sounds like the unpause noise in the level creator plays right after the initial load when the game is turned on. I have no idea if this is related, but it seems like a weird coincidence.

Is this related to the 1.07 update? Or the Metal Gear pack? Can someone help please!?!?:grr:

I have almost no idea what you're talking about... what 'stuff' did you delete? Please be a little more clear.

Any way, from what I'm reading, it's from the MGS pack. Maybe wait till the 1.08 patch? I'm not sure, someone's bound to have a better answer than I do.

These types of glitches have been happening all over the place since 1.07. That un-pause sound was added since the 1.07 update as well, that's just cosmetic. The issue at hand is that MANY people's save files are either getting corrupted in some form or another or they just aren't saving sometimes. Both have happened to me and it is frustrating to say the least (just check what I felt I needed to put in my sig... I'm not usually the protesting type!)

So know that you are not alone in this, my suggestion: Wait till the next patch to start creating things again. That's what I'm doing. They give us little choice by breaking the game like this.

I am experiencing the exact same problem. I'm working on a really, really cool level at the moment, and I lost all my progress on it due to this. I redid it all, which took forever. Now, I upload it to the servers (locked though) when I am finished working on it, just to copy it back to my PS3 the next time I sign on. It's really annoying, but it should be fixed with 1.08.

I had this prob. REALLY annoying until I deleted some photos and costumes and such. Then all was well in MarkoWolfy's pod! :p

Yea juste delete some stuff. I had like 200+ community object. I deleted everything and its all good now. Hope it works for you.

They really need to add a "Delete All" option. Or, an option were you can go in, and check the items you want, then click "Delete All Unchecked"

It's kind of like Spam Mail... Which is pretty sad.

I've cleaned out my items multiple times, with no result. It's alright, though, I can deal with it.

I experienced this for the first time this morning. I was really excited to continue working on my level after having fixed lots of bugs yesterday, but when I entered the level I noticed that nothing had been saved. :(

It sounds like the new "Save as" function might be making things malfunction. That's just me guessing though. I haven't experienced any save file problems, but I haven't been doing super complex work in create mode either. :blush:

Got the same error, my file is not saving. Its really irritating! My level I worked on jumped to its old build. 2 hours work gone for nothing... any fix for it or just wait it out? A patch that is...

i had the same thing. it is the community stickers. the costume ones. i deleted all of them an now i can save again . it was very frustrating . i was lucky that i published a level before i realised i had the problem . otherwise i probably would have cried . tell me if it works :hero:
