I faced again the 'unsaving the saves' bug!

After the 'red screen' and the incredible '5 minutes to load a level' bugs, it happened again... today, exactly 3 hours ago.
I decided to try editing offline to verify if it is possible to elude the well known ''unsaved data'' bug.
Copy from the net, fix some bugs and then republish worked well in theese days, but trying to create another level can't be made in a few hour (except for RAMP, obvious!).
So I started Miglioshin's Fantasy Adventure ch.3 in which i would insert horse riding or something else with horses.
Built the 'horse machine', with effects, pistons, wheels and all the stuff like that, it took me about 2 hours and it worked not too bad for the beginning.
Then I stopped (saying to myself that it was enough for a test), acquired the object in my goodies menu, saved the level with the option 'Save level as...' and so on.
Quitted.
Loaded.
Everything vanished.
And I didn't logged in PSN.
Any official news about a fix or an uptdate (1.08 maybe?)?

I definitely stop creating until MM will fix at least this bug, it is FRUSTRATING like anything else has ever happened in my life!!!!!!!

I'm a creator, I draw comics, I paint, I write songs, lyrics, stories, Interactive Fictions (using INFORM), I dream and my brain's always at work, maybe I was overexposed to LBP but the possibility to create quite everithing and share with other players online were the REAL FEATURES that brought me to give 70 EURO (and not ''only'' 60 $) to my favourite shop-keeper and buy a copy of LBP, because I'm very intellectually over-stimulated by theese features in the game.
Without this possibility the game really sucks to me; yeah, ok, other's coolest levels ever, but my biggest satisfaction is when someone else plays and have fun with someting I MADE.

The only thing I do With LBP now is the ''re-publication-tango'' to catch some general attention to what I've made yet (but when I first catched 100 plays I was already very satisfied with that, 100 people that have seen what I made has never happened in my entire life (I'm not so old but not even so young anyway...)).

Holidays or not, IMO too many time has passed since the bugs appeared...
I'm not so positive with that fix/patch/update that most of us are waiting for...

Anyone who has experienced that and wanna 'give a shout' here?

I'm so frustated, I feel so cheated (maybe it is not the appropriate word for what I really mean but please excuse my being non-english) that if you will make me play the coolest thing ever in virtual reality (a la matrix), probably I will get bored in no time.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE IF MM LET US KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THIS S*** OF BUG!

I wanna my money back, but from MM!

For the last three days, nothing has been saving for me.

The first day, it was story mode prizes that I got from some two-player challenges. And some saved costumes.

The second day, I did a little level editing, but that work was lost.

And today, I tried a little more level editing. Afterward I shut down the PS3 in the safest way I could - waiting a few minutes after returning to the Pod. Again, gone were the changes.

So I then deleted all community objects, made a level change, and tried again. That one change stuck. But I'm hesitant to make any heavy changes now.

This happened to me before. Don't worry pal, if you deleted all of the USELESS community objects and useless, pics, saves should stick.

thats still a pain, it shouldn't have to be that way, the PS3 has so much power and space why can't it save, that stinks sorry about that.

I wish LBP would save more stickers/objects/costumes. Really, I don't mind giving a few gigs of my PS3 to LBP alone so the "you need to delete all the cool stuff you've accumulated over the countless hours of LBP you've played" message pops up.

But if it's the saved objects that causes the glitch.. Meh, I'll play some CoD until patch 1.08 :)

I've just posted this suggestions directly to MM (here: http://www.mediamolecule.com/2008/12...t-mm/#comments ):

- Give each custom level a seperate savefile (the smaller PS3 HDD isn't 40 Gb? Isn't it connectable to a general external hard disk to store files? OR NOT?)

- Give in the pause menu the so missing SAVE GAME option (Why they didn't?)

- Give the option for who is interested in it to allocate more memory for the savegame files

- Separate the save files: profile, costumes, community objects, self-made objects, custom levels

I guess it is not so difficult and I'm sure I'M NOT TALKING NONSENSE.
