Not particularly, I prefer to have the mods and such and texture packs. Would be cool but probably wouldn't get it.

Quite honestly I'd prefer it to stayed off consoles.

I tried everything: putting a bag of ice near the hottest area, placing the laptop up high so that it's higher up and absorbs more air, sitting besides an open window... Sometimes it does take longer to overheat and shut down without notice, but it's certain it happens. Now after the 1.7 update Minecraft started to cause the overheat too, although it takes an hour or so to happen (while Playing Team Fortress it only takes 10 min.)

I saw a forum thread about this laptop's ventilation problem, and turns out this Acer Aspire's is a lesson for computer manufacturers of every single thing they shoudln't do when designing an efficient layout. Too small air intakes, the processor directly above the HDD (if I remember correctly) which is enveloped in an inner casing that obstructs the laptop's initially designed lower ventilation holes, a weak fan, the crappiest thermal paste possible (one of the users even said it wasn't actual thermal paste). Basically, I bought a 400€ stove :( in this same thread there are some users that punched some holes into the lower casing, replaced the thermal paste and say their laptop now runs fine but I'm not savvy enough to open a laptop casing and meddle with its components. Sigh. I'll just get a decent desktop, it's the way I'll play Minecraft online and with maximized settings.

for those of you that play on my server and haven't already heard, we are taking a vote to see where we go from here. right now its 5 to 1(sort of...odd one, that.) that we start teh worlds over. this includes money and levels in mcMMO and Jobs.

To vote: just log in and go to the voting booth (in the spawn area) and once it teleports you, read the wall. after you've read and understand exactly whats involved, place a sign on whichever side you wish to choose. Also, you can use the command '/mail write memodrix' followed by a short message if you have any issues or questions and I'm not on.

The vote will be over by midnight, which is why i want to make sure that anybody that hasn't voted gets the chance. after i iron out exactly whats involved, provided the vote still stands at reset, i'm gonna stop the server and do away with the worlds so that they can be re-created.

Sure ya can. Oh, and you may have noticed that i kinda dissapeared for a minute or....day. apparently i'm the only one in my household who keeps their part of the bills up >.< But now that thats sorted out, I present to you: GRIEF DAY! I'm basically gonna let you's guys destroy everything we created on the server, let it go out in style.

it'll stay that way till i get home from work sometime at 8am eastern time(GMT -5).

so log yerself into Craftworld.minecraft.cm (not com!), grab you some dynamite, and i want to see big, beautiful craters everywhere!!!

on the new seed there is this, I really really would like to keep the spawners, You can take the mossy cobble and what not but i really need the spawners.

So, uh...yea. for some reason big brother ATE the new world. In order to fix it i'm gonna have to re-gen it. anything you had in your inv's you should still have, but everything else is pretty much toast.

MY oppologies! I'm not even sure how it happened to try and use the old world!

Server is pretty interesting..

Might pop in more often when I get permissions. Loving the day/night switch as well as the bridge. :P

Whelp. it looks like the latest upgrade may have killed residences. I'll fix what i can but until the plugin updates for the bukkit build (1000) it'll be touch and go. since i can roll back griefers then ban 'em that shouldn't be a problem......

There's a new server: craftworld.minecraft.cm (Memodrix is running it). Not a lot of people are playing on it though so it's always nice when people join.
