Lecturing us on how keeping items on death is wrong and here you were cheating the hunger system... shame on you

I'm proposing we protect against lava / fire / void / suffocation deaths, which are the most frustrating when losing items (especially since the last two are almost always caused by lag), and in turn get rid of the back command. So if you're really far away from your spawn, you've a very big incentive not to die.
If possible, I think only keeping your weapons, tools and armour upon death by lava / fire and maybe suffocation would be a great idea.
Also, my apologies for the downtime.Dynmap is being very difficult, and for some reason, when I want to delete the Dynmap files, they just regenerate immediately after. Won't be much longer now.
Welp. After two hours of faffing about, http://198.12.70.37:8123/ is now our dynmap. Though at the moment it's all black with just the time, and icons for players. I'll wait for the render to finish, and if that doesn't work I'll look into the files again.
Ooooooooooh yay! 1.4.2! I feel 1.7.3..
Would it be possible to get a currency economy opposed to a emerald one Does anybody else prefer this besides me?
Honestly, I only played the 1.2 world so I could build that. I didn't care about the survival aspect, just wanted to see if I could building something cool while having to collect the materials. For this world, however, I'm here solely for the survival.
If you do install this, could you set up another group for people who don't want this? Meaning don't give that group any Bukkit commands so that they can play as if it were Vanilla? (There are some commands I would like to keep in order to keep people away from me, however.)
I think that we should only get our stuff back if we fall in the void, or sufficate in a wall when tpa'ing somewhere. That's it.

I'm bored of the keep I built in Bagheadinc's server, so I abandoned it. If any of you want to be the new owner, feel free to put a claim on it. It's on a hill overlooking Jamestown:

Go check it out if you're interested. More pictures here.
What happened to the old server? The 72.2177218761 one?
