Personally, I don't think I have either. I feel it's an unnecessary addition to MC (says the guy that's been playing FTB a lot lately :p )

I remember in 1.0 I sold 24 diamond blocks to tan for 21,000 gills. I then proceeded to spend almost all of my fortune to buy a house in Oct's mountain luxury base that I never used. :D

Yes. The room I got for free, forced him to accept at least 10,000 Gil, and still was in the top 3 for wealth.

Ah.... Dayne.. I had a lag incident with my "home" tp, and I lost a bunch of stuff. I had JUST bought two villager eggs, and had 12 leftover emeralds. If it's possible to get just that stuff back, it would be great. Thanks.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, but it's usually best to set your res tp's one block ABOVE where you want to spawn, to avoid things like that.

I messed around with the new snapshot, usually I don't feel like sharing photos of my MC playground simply because of lazyness, but for your interest here's some pictures~

Spoiler - chicken farm-ish

One of the first ideas I had to try was a simple chicken egg collector, with the item-catching Hoppers.

I connected all hoppers together under a small room, where I would spawn a few chickens that would hatch some eggs eventually.

Catching the eggs was harder than I thought, they would always land on the edge of the Hopper and not fall in it. I added some water to push around the eggs towards one corner. Most of the time no matter where the eggs landed they where now pushed into the Hoppers. However the chickens was also pushed into one corner, and several stacks got stuck in the corners instead .-.

Spoiler - Item transport

I also tried the Hopper on Minecarts with chests. Sure enough, it does work. But to unload the minecart you had to put a hopper under it, and the Hopper didn't like having tracks on it. I solved this by pushing off the carts with a piston, that was activated by a track sensor, delayed with repeaters. Simple stuff xD

It worked very well actually, but the speed of the minecarts only picked up one item from the Hopper each turn. Some genius might figure out a way to make it say there for longer, packin' up more, like stacks of items.

Spoiler - Lights

I set up a simple light system for a simple house. I thought it would look horrible but it worked rather well. Mmm.. Sort of.

I originally placed the switch right next to the redstone inverter. Without thinking of the new "power levels" there are within redstone now. So even the slightest of sunlight turned off the lights, it would be too dark for too long before the light actually where activated.

I fixed it by simply moving the switch away from the inverter a bit, now it required more power (more sunlight) to move all the way to the inverter. In other words, the lights would turn on quicker.

I also noticed redstone can connect through stairs, yay! xD

I was messing around with Invisibility potions and noticed the mobs where acting weird to it. Dunno if this is new or old stuff though.

Ah.. It's okay, let's avoid the hassle. I found some more diamonds and got some more emeralds anyway. At least I know now.

Server's down. Not just MC either, the whole thing. Dynmap is down as well. I can't even ping the ip address.

EDIT : It's back up. However, I have a problem. I need my dat file deleted because I have been stuck at level 18 for months, and today I used them all to try to see if starting at 0 would help kickstart it. Now I'm stuck at level 0. Killed a bunch of monsters and bred some cows, but nothing worked. I can't absorb xp currently. Game told me to ask you, Dayne, next time you were on but I figured this was a more reliable way to reach you.
