Me neither, so I have something we can all agree on:
Kernel keeps his mod status,
Everyone justs drops this agrument and we have it removed from the records.

Derp.... why would I ban someone. :/ I haven't even said anything yet. :/
Anywho... It is not Kernel's problem you don't play online while he plays. The whole point in having multiple mods is that they are not all expected to be online at the same time. If you have a problem and Kernel is online, he will help you. If not, then ask another mod of wait... or deal with it yourself. And, if you don't like how it works go play on a different server. You can complain until you're blue in the face but it is not going to change anything. You either suck it up and play on this server which the mods do a fine job with or you can take it elsewhere but all of this fighting causes it to be worse.
I have had disagreements with the mods in the past but they are mods for a reason... they didn't just log on and get promoted to a mod.
Ahhh....I love watching these arguments continue... All because of one little accident.
I don't wanna butt in on Speedy Vs Kernel Rage To The End but... Can we PLEASE end the drama? I dont even honestly know what we were arguing about anymore.
Continue if you wish. Ill be eating popcorn :3
*Walks in, ignores other posts...
Hey, in the Nether we can't destroy anything or use commands. Can we fix that soon? :(
I wants a potion table thing. :kz:
i can fix the problems with the nether, but that won't happen until probably 7:30 or so in the am (gmt -5)
cause i gotta go to work.

I am jealous of this hippo. In other news, I decided to post something involving hippos and licking in an attempt to waver the tension currently being emitted from this thread. It is possible to consider this spam, so therefore I should probably say something minecraft related.
So Im sure youve all seen this picture of a minecraft block with a minecraft world on it. Well some dude actually made it, in minecraft. You should check it out, unless youve seen it before. If you have seen it before, for obvious reasons, you may not be so inclined to watch it. This is acceptable.

Forgot about that. :(
Anyways what merc linked to has this stuff:
- New jungle-specific mob that can be tamed
- Skeletons have new AI and a few new behaviors
- Various minor bug fixes and changes
- Added an experience item to creative mode
- Added a flame item…
- Updated language files
To tame the Ocelot you need to stand still with a fish, and they should come to you.
Personally, I don't like how they change after you tame them, but I will likely get a texture pack that makes them still look like ocelots after taming them.
You can also get the early server client here: http://assets.minecraft.net/12w04a/minecraft_server.jar
Wait... This means 1.2 is coming out soon?! Which means a new server?! Which menas me and Oct can both start our new towns?! Which means that we gonna have jungle houses with OZELOT FARMS?!
HECKKKKK YAAAAAAAAA
That means having to start Talassa ALL over again?
http://www.maxintosh.org/storage/Oka...=1292362858520
Wait. I don't get it. Is the ocelet part of 1.1 or 1.2?
Jeb is already doing a much better job than Notch ever did. Wow. I'm impressed.
"Unlike wolves, however, they will not attack a hostile mob for you when tamed. This is likely due to the fact that Ocelots are initially passive, and do not seem to change that passive state when tamed into cats."
What's the point of them then? To drink my unwanted milk buckets?
TOO MUCH DRAMA. MUST BREAK TENSION.

Anyway, sorry I'm late to the drama party. But it seems people want new mods because we're not here often. Well, actually, Kernel and I have been making an effort to take out of our own time to get online. I've been online for a few hours in the past couple of nights, and I plan to keep it up. But- you realise Mods can ban, jail and make warps and give perms at the moment? That's it. When I logged on, not a single person told us they needed any of our services. You haven't seen us online for weeks, and what has come of it?
We come on when we can, for our own pleasure, but otherwise you contact us to come online as and when you need us.
I don't see why you're so eager to make new mods- we do our jobs properly and efficiently, when things arise. When we get BB, LogBlock, or something similar back- then we'll be able to help even more. But until then, you'll have to make do with me being online from 6:30pm - 10pm GMT most nights. But understand that the creator spotlight is firing back up, I have college stuff to do, and thousands of people that need saving from dragons too. We can't be there all the time- but nor do we need to be.
Now, back to the Ozelots: OMFG LOOK AT THE BABY TIGR THINGS I WANTS THEM ALL NOW.
In my opinion, I would prefer panthers. Bigger than wolves and twice as deadly.
Three of us are trapped in the nether.
Made my way out after the commands suspiciously changed to let me use them in the nether.
I don't want to get involved, especially since this seems to be getting nowhere. But I will say this, we're not a big server. We don't need mods online 24/7 and most disputes can be resolved through the in-game mail system or the forums. Players should be able to sort things out themselves and the mods should be the last port of call, excepting Memo.
Then why is it we're always arguing and complaining? The players obviously can't handle matters themselves and that's where a mod comes in. Thinking back on it, I wasn't very clear in my previous posts (partially due to a lack of sleep because sleep is for ducks).
Kernel, Dayne, I'm not saying you shouldn't be mods. It's just that you can't be the only mods. Everyone appreciates the time you put into the server but you just don't have enough to spare to keep everything peaceful and calm.
Im starting to think the reason I never see the mods online is because they're online while im sleeping.... :/
I had an odd bug where I couldn't see any text.
http://i.imgur.com/m0AXs.jpg
It was... interesting. I could still type, just not read what any of it said, so I managed to explain what was going on and stuff. But then people started talking a lot, and I can only imagine they were taking the opportunity to insult me. :p
Also, I said I'd be back when I left to try and fix it, but then the server wouldn't let me back in. So sorry for lying to anyone who was on at the time.
Being a mod is tough work. You have to be able to give up a lot more than at LEAST an hour of your time (And yes, I read that other sentence too). I used to be a mod for LBPC and I was asked to step down because I wasn't able to put up the time that was needed. I gladly obliged and that was that.
The difference here is that no one is asking you to step down, we're just asking for more moderators. Both you and Kernel are in the GMT Time Zone and that doesn't work for people like me. You're both 8 hours ahead of me. Meaning that when I want to log on, you're more than likely asleep. It doesn't matter if you do your job efficiently or not. You are physically unable to be online when I want to be online. And I know there are a few other people with similar time zones that you can't cater to.
So all we ask for is more moderators in different time zones. That way we can thin out the times where no moderators can/are online.
And sadly, it seems the LBPC Server needs more moderation than the website itself. ._.
*refusing to get involved until now* I think this sums it up quite well, nobody is being asked to leave, we just need mods from different time zones, my GMT is -8 and I personally have only seen dayne and kern in the server a few times and that was quite a while ago.
Oh, I have Optifine. This was just a random bug that happened, it happens quite often with HD texture packs. Here I think it happened to everything in terrain.png:

Okay. I have a clear head now. Let me restate things now that I'm not as passionate.
This was a statement of ideas. Nobody had to go off on it. It's not against the rules of either the server or the site to express feelings.
I did do this. I don't remember when exactly. But I got no response at all... That may have been an error on my part, though. I don't really understand Twitter. I just read the stuff.
Honestly, I still don't understand what 'sweeping, unfair, and just plain wrong statements' I made. All I did was say that mods were inactive. I called for a vote to have a new and more active mod on the server.
I want you to look at it from the players point of view. What we see is no mods online. I know that Dayne has been getting on but still you haven't been on the server yet. But still /seen hasn't shows that you've not been on the server since we updated to 1.1.
This was a false assumption. I did read your post. I do care that people have a life outside videogames. I do understand. Since you didn't give me the courtesy of reading my post, I don't see why you should have overreacted as you did.
This is what I was saying. If a person isn't on enough, they can't carry out their responsibilities to their fullest.
I'm still not sure how I seemed envious of the mod powers.
Did I ever directly say I should to be a mod? No. Do I want to be one? Yes. Does that mean I'm going to fight everybody to be one? No. And why did you bring Tan into this? He had nothing to do with any of this. He just said that he agreed with what I said. Did he say he wanted to be a mod yet? No. Tan has said on multiple occasions that he doesn't want to be a mod.
If you didn't finish reading the above, at least read this!
I, too, would like this to end. I apologize for this argument escalating so much. I tend to get passionate about things. I will view, but not reply to, anything that comes after this post related to this topic.
Guys, this is REALLY getting out of hand. All this argument, these expression of opinions, whatever you want to call it. It's all getting to be too much. 3 thread pages just for an argument over mods. We've been through this before, but not to this severity. How we interpret facts may differ, but that's no reason to be arguing. Whether it's mods, land, new people, or rules, we ALWAYS happen to get into arguments over them. I understand, it's human nature. I do it too. But that doesn't mean we need to carry on like this forever. We can make this server better for everyone. If all this excessive arguing is stopped, maybe we'd have fewer gray hairs when we're 50. There's no need to argue over one thing for so long. State your opinion, and leave it at that. We are all different people, and we don't know what goes on in each others lives. Maybe we need a change of mods, maybe we don't.
All I ask is that we not argue amongst ourselves so much, so often, so long. All I ask is that WE, as a server, as people, conduct ourselves in a more considerate way. Please, let this community be better off.

Just to lighten the mood a little... I found this! :D

Just in case any of you guys get attacked by a maniac from underneath you or above don't mind him.
Apparently /see only shows when they were last online with you.

Nope! :D That's the description that shows when you just type /seen.
