whelp! I'm adding heroes now. I was gonna do it yesterday but apparently after running about paying bills i went home, passed out for 14 hours, and here i am.

Heroes will remove some of the stuff from your inventories if you aren't the proper class for it. so....might wait till later.....
also, this signals the upcoming end of the map, where we'll have a restricted area to play in. but that's after i get everything ready for it.

- Map with borders. check the dynmap and look at the test to get an idea.
- I have no specific seed in mind, but if you have an epic one to try lemme know and we'll get it goin.
- MMo plugin, by the name of Heroes!
- it has a ton of neat features, but it seems as tho some are aimed solely at pvp.
- Clerics heal
- warriors bash things while wearing heavy armor
- rogues are sneaky little gits. i'm thinking they wear leather, but iunno for certain
- wizards are squishy but can cast spells. I'm betting they are either wearing leather or nekkid. >.>
- Admins can do it all, like bosses, no less.
- I already got myself hugged by creepers twice, so aside from the being able to use any spell/skill and wearing any armor they still squish.
- classes are item specific: you cannot use heavy armor/diamond swords as a wizard, nor can you zap people as a warrior.
- its possible to do repairs, but i dunno what class has that one.
- you can have a primary and secondary job.
- i'm looking at extending/re-doing the class lists based upon octav's idea, or something.
- A working economy!
all this and more.....as soon as i fix my pc. which always seems to die at the most inconvenient times....
Oh gods........i'll have to re-install my entire steam library.....well, thats only like 3 or 5 rather large games... and terraria.....so no biggie.

Ok, So I start my first ever Single Player world about 20 minutes ago, "Fort Blubber", and run into many things. NPC Village, epic amazing cavern with coal, iron, and 4 diamonds. :D I dont even have a house yet, just living in a cavern, slaying em zombies :kz:

Sorry for the double post, but didn't want to edit this in to the post above, mostly because its on an unrelated note.
So Im trying to makes a server for some doods of mine. (No plugins) So I download the thing at Minecraft.net, And run it WHA-LA. I have the server control panel at my hands. I then proceed to find the IP Adress, which does work for me but not for others. Than there this attatchment at the end (:25565) And they tried adding that but still didnt work. THEN we found another IP (DHCP Server IP) Which, when he tried to join with the regular IP and the :25565 attatchment, almost worked, but said "connection refused." How can I get other people to join? :confused:
Did you remember to Port Forward? Did you set up your static IP? Does it say anything in the Server Log about the server not being able to catch up? We need a little more info than what you gave us...Quote:

I did something different, A TRIPLE THREAT, I didn't wanna do the bad guy's skin herobrine because it's already too black to make it look too different, so I just did it that way.

Excuse my obliviousness, but why exactly are we getting a new map?
the old one is waaaaay too big. a new map that has had all its chunks rendered with the borders will run around 100 megs before anyone starts adding stuff. our normal map runs well over 1.1 gigs by now.
if i don't come home and pass right out i'll save the old world map and begin the entertaining process of setting up the new one. so...expect stuff to start acting wierd by....uh....8am (gmt-5)
