So the railway is useless then? Or does it just mean that we have to make new ones?

Also, what is the reason for not allowing water to spread?

You have to activate water spread within residences. It's enabled everywhere else.
/res set flow true

And we only need to add redstone torches and powered rails.
Speaking of which; anyone fancy placing powered rails on every gold block in the subway? Would be much appreciated! And I shall pay you for your troubles :P

The railway seems to serve more of an aesthetic purpose than a functional one. With warps and residence teleports, the railway is pretty much obsolete as a means of transportation.
It is a nice addition though.

This is the first house I made since playing. Well, when I first started in this world I had a little mine which functioned as a house but I don't think that counts.

Getting your groceries up there would be one hell of a problem.

It isn't, but it's dang fun to ride on. Especially when people don't feel like teleporting and cheating! :P

Zipper elevators don't work on servers :/ Kern made a really clever elevator, but there's only so far the pistons could push, so you'd have to have a few :P

I tried placing some stairs but messed it up so it's really convoluted getting up there.

When I find a bigger mountain I will build another tower on top of it. They can be like a crappy version of the two towers of Mordor and Isengard.

Joeyjoeymc and I are already creating plans to make Whiterun on the next map. Apart from the foundation outlines and Dragonsreach, it's going to be a big project in survival. Would be great if you could make some of the houses! :)

edit: i made a villager breeder in NPCville. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to expand the town now, as it seems every day there are more little villagers running around...yay for cheating the algorithms!

The new snapshot will be released today, rather than tomorrow, and if there are no new bugs it could end up being 1.3!

Apparently we are having a hellish lagspike. So I will tell this here.
I finally finished my temple-farm thing, and it will be open to public soon :D

Gonna post some pictures later, and gonna make a residence teleport when the server get's back to normal.

But I JUST got my first floor finished. :( It was going to be a beautiful, self-sustaining house that you could live in forever without ever having to leave. I guess I'll have to start over AGAIN. :cry: All this starting over was why I left before.

Also, the nether is too laggy. That needs to be fixed. Seriously, it's unusable. Maybe limit it to a smaller area like overland? IDK, just throwing out ideas.
