Hey, could somebody help me with Minecraft? This laptop (yes, LAPTOP) is having issues with java and "internet connection settings" when I try to re-install Java. It says that the installer cannot proceed with the current internet connection settings. I tried searching for what the problem was, but it certainly WAS NOT the Internet connection settings. They're all fine. :confused:
I also resetted my laptop to different times (like when I downloaded latest versions of Java). Whenever I click on In Browser to play, it loads with the Java sign on it, but it goes to a black screen (black screen of death?). This happens when I tried download the offline version of Java. When I hit the refresh button, it just says an error about Java and that's it. No details on what the error is.
Anybody know how to fix this for a laptop? Minecraft did work once with a decent amount of RAM and with little lag.
First of all... what OS is your laptop running? It is hard to help when little information is provided. I would also try downloading the client because it runs much better than the in-browser version.

So yesterday we played...
The server was all "Yay people are finally on me! Now lets have some fun with mobs and lag... SUPER LAG... hahaha!"
And we were all derp... what the toast.
I would play more but I'm having issues with Minecraft atm... After about 30 minutes of playtime I get lag spikes that go literally off the chart. And they happen constantly. :I

Smart Moving won't do anything on a server unless it has the SMP/Bukkit Smart Moving as well.
