The sounds you're hearing can mean that you're near a cavesystem with lots of monsters. I don't think pigs are making any sound unless you hit them.Quote:

Log in to minecraft.net and go to the profile tab. There is an option to change the skin you use there. First you need to make one from the default skin, though. there should be a link on that page to download it.Quote:

You can't heal pickaxes, unfortunately, you just have to keep making more. Bear in mind that weaker materials have lower durability than stronger ones. What material are you using to make your pickaxe?

like in the exit places I made to go up on land... are made with long ladders going way up.

If you don't want to see the less impressive hobbit villages, skip a few minutes to check Rivendell, Moria, etc... They made the halls of Moria so big even the "Far" render distance and the best computers can't render the ceilings and opposite walls. Faithful to the description in the books :D
Takes 12 hours to get from one end of the server to the nest, and 2 hours to go through all of Moria :D Such an awesome, yet nerdy server ;)Quote:

Those cage things are Monster Spawners. You should destroy it so it doesn't spawn more zombies. There's always a treasure chest near monster spawners, so look for that.Quote:

It takes a while to destroy, just keep at it. Surrounding it with torches helps to slow down its spawn rate long enough to destroy it.Quote:
