Well, legally speaking, this kind of makes sense. Time to play Devil's Advocate.

To put things into perspective:
Company 1 registers the trademark for "A B"
Company 2 registers the trademark for "B"
Company 1 wants to make a new game called "A B C"
Company 2 sues Company 1 for use of their trademark

This is, in essence, what the whole Tim Langdell saga was about (though they had the trademark for the word "Edge" beforehand).

Remember, in legal circles it's not about who's "right" or about "common sense", it's about how much money it's going to cost to pay your lawyers, whether you win the case or not. It's hard to blame the lawyers in this case for taking defensive measures, considering the precedent set by Langdell.

Then does this also mean if you put a pumpkin on after the Enderman has already seen you, it won't see you looking at it and therefore won't freeze when you look at it? Hmmm... :rolleyes:

EDIT: I've found something that - might - work, however i will have to test it to see if it will also block summons. cause that would be irritating if not.....

What's going on with this residence thing? It's kind of annoying setting up secret entrances etc, but people can just smash through a couple of blocks to gain entrance. It's rather annoying :/

Also, Warlord and I came across a little glitch. As a result, Herobrine came and took his life. This is us respectfully burying Warlord. RIP, buddy.

The way to prevent people "just smashing through a couple of blocks" is to line your walls with private signs, and then remove them because i think the protection remains on the block.

Memo! All nether is breaking loose! Residences stop pistons from working, they don't always work as they're supposed to, and this WRETCHED TP UPDATE stops us from forcing people out of our homes and areas! And from rescuing people. Please unfix this :/

HOWever... ever since i've downloaded it my level generator is incredible laggy and slow both in and outside the aether, along with that i've gotten alot of random lag everywhere for no reason really.

but now i can't work with even one piston with settings: fast grafic, non-smooth light, level render set to tiny, in SINGLEplayer. without suprisingly high lag.

i might have mixed my minecraft jar and the mod wrong or something though..

have you recently died in another realm? if you did, collect all the items in the other world. the shockahpi mod makes some items not dissapear.

Minecraft is amazing. I got it today for my birthday and I <3 it. :D

I had a look around the server but I didn't have the permission to do more than that yet. So I spent most of the time in single player mode. ;)

Uh-Oh this is bad every time I try to join all I can see is my hand then I start losing hearts, after about 2 hearts is disconnects me and says that im flying. T_T

Okay seriously, I'm new to Minecraft, who is [BROADCAST]? They kept speaking to me on the server and refused to tell me who they were, and no one else could hear them. Except for DayneOram who heard them a few times when they tried to convince him to slap me.

Whoever runs the server (Memodrix) can send a broadcast message that announces things or something blah blah blah.

[Broadcast] is usually either Console or someone using a command to broadcast a message across the server. It's strange that you say no one else noticed it, because a broadcast can be seen by anyone.

Maybe there's a way to make it only seen by certain people, because the first thing it said was something like "Only you can hear me Doopz".
