never said anything about the world coming back, though i do wanna make it available to people somehow. first things first tho. when 1.9 comes out there is gonna have to be a major restructuring of pretty much everything. modifications and such, and yea. we may need to adopt more strict rules as to who gets perms.

Is there not a way you can systematically pick off the irritating people who shouldn't be on the server? If they haven't heard of LBPC, then why are they even on it?
This... infuriates me beyond belief. These people should not be allowed on television. "Don't let your kids play Minecraft because it's addicting and distracts them from their fictional stories!"... How about you try limiting how long your kids play instead? If someone is breaking rules then we can get rid of them but i don't see how we can just go and ban a bunch of people for no reason other than they haven't heard of a website.
That said, we CAN be more strict about who gets perms from now on.
I'd be happy with just BigBrother, the /warp mod, and iConomy. (Obviously bukkit goes without saying). The shop mod is brilliant, but it can be done manually (passing items from player to player and paying money) if need be.Quote:

I say that we should play adventure maps on special days on the server and then switch back to the normal map for the rest of the week. ;) Like say, load the level "Four Towers" on Fridays, play it, and then switch back to normal things for the rest of the week?
I know, it's weird. I used to be complaining about too many people in the server that I don't know, but now there just isn't anyone at all. I tend to only join the server if there are a few people on (thanks to the multiplayer menu displaying online players now), but recently whenever I check it always seems to say that no one is online, so I don't bother joining.Quote:

Um... 1.9 PR6 says outdated server and 1.8.1 says outdated client. Are you using 1.9 PR5 or something? O_o
I'm getting really sick of this... I mean it is fine switching for an official update but why a prerelease. I enjoyed 1.8.1, I didn't want to play 1.9 until it is officially released. Now if I want to play on the server with my friends, I am forced to play 1.9 and I lose over 40 hours of work.
