Just experience jail for the first time. And take my advice. Don't cower in the corner. Evil dogs will spawn and rip your face off. Oh and arguing with the voice will solve nothing.

Apparently /msg is an attempt to escape jail. So yeah. Don't do that unless you want an extra 10 minutes. -_- All I wanted to know was how to tell how much time I had left!

i' have created a jail, and I'm giving EVERYONE I KNOW TO BE INVOLVED 25 minutes in jail. you must be logged in for it to count down and you will lose all yer permissions when in there. won't even be able to speak.

Whilst this is true i didn't actually try to exploit it, I mean it's not as if i did it repeatedly, I did it once to see if it would work and then the server wouldn't let me back on again, I was never part of the group that tried to steal stuff, I just did it on a whim to see if it would work, I'm not sorry because i have nothing to be sorry for.

And Anyway, I used a legitimate class and a legitimate strategy, I didn't break into the arena, or cheat in any way and i'm in jail for it? That's bull.

Um.. Memo, why was I jailed? I didn't exploit the arena, you get given a diamond sword after round 15. I got them legitimately. :/

No offense, but the game isn't really worth the money you paid for it. I thought it would be a nice little break from Battlefield 3 and be fun to play with some of the people on the site, especially if doing so would be free. But, I'm sorry you're so upset by my question, all I needed was a simple answer. You can continue supporting SOPA, however, I'll just be on my way.

I believe you're confusing SOPA with DRM. Although similar in purpose, they are not the same thing.

The only way you would be able to play on the server is if they disabled authentication, which I doubt will happen. AFAIK that would allow things such as ban-evasion, impersonations and whatnot.

There are hours upon hours worth of entertainment in Minecraft. IMO, $30 is nothing for what the game offers. BF3 may last you a couple fun online months, but Minecraft will having you coming back throughout the year online or offline.

I really dont want something to start here, but my friend has the cracked version of the game, and it runs on an extremely old launcher, specifically the one that only requires you to enter a username, which you can change at any time, just by typing it into the feild... I dont have a clue how he did it, but he can join My friend and I's server without a problem.

Although, the only setback (I KNOW OF) is that you are in capable of changing your skin, because the site doesnt recognise the username, and there isnt a password for your account to begin with :)

I think it all depends on taste. I personally prefer shooters, but I also enjoy the creative types which is why I thought to give Minecraft a try. While the formula is there for Minecraft, I think the quality is lacking. (Graphics, controls, achievements, overall plot/purpose).

It's not a big deal of whether or not I can play it, I just liked the idea of the sharing creations aspect of the game with multiplayer.

Well, I finally forked up the money to buy this thing. :p

@Woodbury I first obtained the game through a crack copy. And then once I'd played it online, I realised how much of an amazing and long lasting game it really is- and bought it. There's no story line- you make your own. As I've read online before, Notch has created a simulation of real life, making communities and such on servers. This is what ours is for. If you want to get a crack to see if it's worth it, feel free. But if you want to play among us, buy the game, support the developers, and be an honest contributor to the server.

Yeah, I killed, the only enderdragon. I should be the only one on the server with an egg as my prize. There is only one and there should be only one.

Tan also apparently doesn't claim "ridiculous amounts of land" according to himself, and yet, when I found a giant beautiful valley which kern and me both loved(which he felt the need to say on multiple occasions how much it sucked, despite me saying how much I loved it; kern even dubbed it "notch's birthplace"), he had to check to see if it was on his land. A giant valley, and he had to check. Turns out it wasnt on his land, but the fact remains, if you have to check and see if a huge unique valley is on your property, maybe its time to tone things down. He also admitted he claimed a plot of land 500 x 500 blocks big.

Claim the prize you got from killing a mob that spawns once, without permission for either? Sounds like a plan. A *** one.

as far as land claims go, no, tan does not, in fact, have a huge claim of land.

kern and inanimacy will be dealt with alongside him, but i'm thinking that i need to get the other mods input on all three cases.

as soon as i get jails working again, - I may well just start using bans - stuff will be dealt with. of that i assure you. I didn't put up this server to give people a place to go be jerks to each other, and if I'm left to deal with it, then so help me, i will do so permanantly.
