Who is going to enter the Progressive contest?

Ok, I decided to make a small topic here because I found (yet) another problem with Proggresive's contest organization.
They tell you to make your level with a "Pro_" tag in its title.
Anyway, try looking for that tag and you'll find tons of levels that have nothing to do with this contest, while some entries are lost in the waves of the search pages. Unlike other tags like LBPC8 that do work.
So, if you're planning to enter this thing, feel free to add a quick link in here to get as much entries in one single place for people to find. You can obviously promote your level somewhere else, this is just to have all (or as many as possible) entries in one place.
It will also help if you're planning to give this entries a play, and you can't find them searching for them.

....I'd think the controversy surrounding this contest would lead to a severe lack of legitimate entries..

I was going to, I was reading about it and it seemed to get better and better, when suddenly "North America residents only." Curses.

Also, as the post above would have me believe, Progressive Insurance is actually a thing? I thought it was something Sony made up. Maybe that's why I shouldn't have entered.

I might enter because of the prize.

Good idea for a thread. I had trouble finding entries too.

Even the legitimate entries are going to come across as satirical even if they don't mean to. I can't wait to play them.

I liked what someone over at LBN said, that after the contest, they will strip their level of all advertising and republish. It may be a corporate sell-out, but a lot of love has to go into making a level you know? It's still highly personal.

I see nothing in your sig...

But the idea of stripping it of the branding is a good one, maybe do it after you recieve your prize though if you win ;)

The only problem with that is that the level will always be centered around progressive due to conditions needed to win and required objects. It would be extremely hard to while it of it's progressiveness, but I guess anything's possible.

BTW: doesn't anyone else have entries. That is the purpose of this thread.

I'm pretty happy with what I have going in my level. I don't think it will be possible to take out all the progressive stuff in the level after the contest. The whole level has progressive colors, and I made a lot of use of the items provided. Plus, the story is centered around progressive. Maybe I will remake it as a normal level another time. But I'm happy with it for now.

Thanks guys, I spent a lot of time on it and it seems to be getting very little exposure which isn't what I was counting om considering it's Sonic lol. But I appreciate anyone who gives it a play. Every vote counts.

Yeah, being a giant hypocrite is a GREAT idea! :rolleyes:

"I hate teh advertising contest! I think I'll participate in it!"

Anyone who removes the Progressive content from their level after the contest is over is not changing the fact they DID participate, they DID support the ads they are supposedly soooo against.


I worked hard on my level just as I would any other and I'm grateful for the opportunity to win a prize for something I worked hard on and put time into. This is far better than other contests out there that just have random drawings. Why the hell shouldn't Progressive get a little cheap advertising out of it? If they start adding pop up ads that you have to scroll through in order to play levels or something like that then I would understand the complaints and I'd be complaining too, but the way they're advertising is not invasive at all. There is simply nothing to complain about. I see a lot of OH NOEZ kneejerk reactions at the mere idea of advertisement. It's ridiculous.

Anyway I'll probably publish my level today if anyone wants to try it. I'll post the link here if I do. I actually made it on a broken PS3. What a nightmare. The disc drive is failing and it got really bad towards the end. I can still play LBP2 for short periods of time so if I can, I'll try your guys' levels if you post a link to them.
