...Or Pokemon Tower, if you wanna use the actual name. My first ever LBPK level! I figured there wern't nearly enough pokemon levels yet! It aint the best. Everyone else on this forum can put me to shame, but for my first track, im pretty pleased with it!
I will certainly add this to my list of tomorrows levels to check out.

I'm a big Pokemon fan. I've been playing Pokemon White 2 when I haven't been playing this game. I'll check it out.
Okay I just got through playing it.
Firstly there are some parts that are just wonderful. Gangar for example, I loved that. And the purple fog fit perfectly.
There are some things you should tweak in order to make it a smoother play:
1.) The Gastly's are a tad too fast, or too many. I would suggest changing their speed or their numbers as I managed to hit them constantly.
2.) I'm a big fan of custom weapons and I usually do suggest people try and throw them in there for immersion. But I really think the gameplay here would benefit from it. The boxing glove rocket coupled with the Gastlys makes it almost frustrating to drive through a really nice track. If you got rid of those and made a couple different types of pokeballs as weapons instead of default LBPK weapons it might help ease the tension of being hit and then driving into something often.
The teaser screenshot looks fantastic. I got this queued up and will give it a try when I have time.
I got the chance to play it today you really need to work on those Gastly make them smaller or slow them down either one because they really take away from the greatness of this track. I loved the part when you got to go inside Haunter that section was very fun imo. Just fix those Gastly up and this is a INCREDIBLE track.

Glad you guys like it! Yeah, I thought the ghastly were a bit too fast on the section where they circle around so thats why I included the little shortcut that lets you avoid them completely. I might go back and slow them down though. Originally there were just two sets but that made the room appear kinda empty.

I haven't got to play your level, yet, Smeargle, but you can re-publish your level. On your moon choose the "publish" option for your updated track but choose the same location as the published version of the track -- it'll sort of lock into place. Doing this will keep the amount of likes and hearts your track has, but the number of races will be reset.
Edited the level! Ghastly are slower now, and the rocket and boxing glove were removed from the items! Too lazy to create my own pokemon items right now though... if anyone wants to make a poke/great/ultra/masterball for me to use though that would be awesome |3

I have been meaning to get to this track (as well as about a dozen others – I'm getting there guys!) I wanted to wait until my oldest daughter was around, though, because she is a Pokemon fanatic. It's in the queue.

I raced your track. I loved the aesthetics of it, and that tunnel after you go into the cat's mouth is awesome. The track itself was really fun to drive on, but there are two things really bothering me. One, the second room where those floating black heads are, and they are making circles in the middle of the room? That room is way too difficult to navigate. The first room they were in moving back and forth was fine, but the second room they are in is a nightmare. I would sometimes die in there 3 or 4 times. The weapons also need to be balanced, IMHO. I got a FF when I was in, like, 4th place I think. I was constantly being beaten to death with rockets and whatnot, and all of the overpowered weapons combined with the obstacles on the track made it hard to just race.
I played it twice, though. :)
I have to definitly agree, I love the visual aesthetics, the Gengar tunnel was my favorite part of the track, I wish there was more of that haha, um , I didnt have a problem with the Ghastlys, but the main problem that I had when I played with my bros was the first room. We had a hard time navigating it, the placement of the tombstones were the case in the area. other than that I had no other problems! For your first track this is great! I feel like you can expand on this level, and actually have the players scale a tower like it was in Pokemon Red/blue, again many great ideas in this track!

Thanks! I think the weapons might have to do with how I took the glove and rocket out, since they didn't play nice with the ghastly or the tombstone portion. As for the second ghastly level, im debating removing one of them and re-spacing them out to make things a bit easier. I already slowed them down so they arn't nearly as bad as they were in the first version.Quote:
