Hey,
One of my buddies was telling me how he heard GTA4 was getting DLC for the PC and xbox360.... but non for PS3..
He told me how the lead dev from fallout 3 announced this awesome expansion and a ton of new content and he announced it would be DLC for xbox360 and pc....but not PS3
Pretty sad and disppointing for me, I figured if it would be out for ps3 they would just say for all consoles, IDK why sony would turn them down if they did. Anyone have any other info
I don't think it's because Sony turned them down... more like the developers only releasing them for the 360 just cause.
Don't know WHY... though I have heard that Microsoft may have bought it out, but IDK :/.
hmm great theory about buying it out, your probably right cause he just told me about exclusive bio shock DLC for PS3.
its too bad these guys have to war it out and make the consumers suffer and not be able to enjoy this DLC. Its not going to make me go out and buy a 360 because i cant get the DLC for it on PS3 it just makes me mad

Most gaming developers use box's to showcase there game, because of the better online system, I'm not saying this is the reason there getting DLC.... B/C the p.c is getting some.

Exclusive DLC is the new 3rd Party exclusive.
MS payed for them. I'm not too upset. the only DLC I've ever bought was for LBP and Warhawk. The new DLC for GTAIV doesn't catch my interest though.
Also, there wouldn't be DLC for GTA IV PC, only X360 ;)

I'm not sure how much MS paid Bethesda, but I recall hearing they paid Rockstar $50 million to keep the DLC off the PS3. I don't really care about GTA, but it's still a shame someone would release for all consoles and then give the shaft to one for DLC. That's why I...erm..."bought" Fallout 3 again for PC.
