Having been whisked harum-scarum from one time zone to another and faced with more mind bending paradoxes than occur in the average Dr Who episode, the judges finally returned all in one piece and still sane...more or less...from playing your time travel levels. Whilst it seems a bit redundant given that with all that time travel technology at your disposal you must surely know the results already…here are the winners:

The Compass of Time [LBPC10]

Your father is an infamous Time & Space scientist. Finally he have created the compact Time Remote, that should let you travel through time. He asks you to test the Remote in a Transistor Factory. Your mission is to shut down the main transistor in the East Wing. To get there, you'll need to time travel numerous times, to disable hazards and conveyor belts -------- Thanks to @Sock_Pasta_Rock for major logic help. Music by: @Tevlon1 and @Breezy-The-Pro

Portals of Time! (lbpc10)

Clocky made a time machine that produce time portals! Where will you go? A old building or while it was building? Dinasour time or End of them? Future or just 5 minute later? Where will you end? This machine is amazing but it can give bugs sometimes. 1 Player only! Have fun! Rest in peace Thermo!

Congratulations to Five-Ate-Five on creating a level with such vibrant LBP1 style visuals and fun platforming. The judges had a blast diving in and out of your time portals and messing with cause and effect.

Well done too to our joint runners up, jauw and pj5. You ran Five-ate-Five very close. We loved the style and polish of Compass of Time and the very cool time shift mechanics on display. It’s Pay back Time looked great, with wonderful details, humour and a fantastic time machine...and was huge fun to play to boot.

Honourable Mentions

The following levels all also really impressed the judges (in alphabetical order of PSN ID):

• Djibees - The Key is Punctuality (LBPC10) - a fantastic and original time travel concept. We were very impressed with this!
• HELLYEAH1982 - (LBPC10) - I will save you :[1Player]: - a clever paradox brought nicely to life.
• I6v6I - [LBPC10] Train of Space and Time★ 銀河特急タイムマシーンで宇宙の旅 (1-4 players) - some inspiring visuals and great ceativity on display here.
• Kaboosh99 - (LBPC10) Product of Man - really nice cinematics and cracking story.
• SuperTrouper - [LBPC10] Paradox Timeline Conundrum (One Player Only) - an original and very clever take on the theme. We were amused, confused...and microwaved apparently!
• Ukarz - (LBPC10) Don't Play with Time [1P] - some awesome and mind bending time shift puzzles. A fun challenge to get to the end!
• white_rabbit_0 - (LBPC10)◇TRIBAL◇-トライバル-(1 player only) - an epic shooter with some great design.

And special mention to Xx_Mr_Orange_xX for giving us all a laugh and a nostalgia trip with (LBPC10) An Epic Adventure through time (FREE time machine)

[1 player only][Medium/Hard] Sackboy meets a robot named Tristan, who lives just building Sky Bases. He likes to do what he does, but everything has a limit.

Well done cakito123 - yours was a great looking platformer with awesome gameplay and a cool story! Congratulations too to Kapum. Dragon Chase was huge fun to play and had a very original 3D design! We can't wait to see you do more with this concept!

"Portals of Time" is the only entry I've gotten round to playing and finishing so far and I liked it, a worthy winner, I think :D
I'm sure the others are awesome as well and I will try to play them all. And maybe I'll actually finish my level next time a contest comes around :p

Aww. Well, we've learned a lot and improved a lot while making our level so....even though we didn't win, we had fun. There's a lot of things I'd change (especially the gameplay) but it's too late now. x.x

congratulations guys! Man! Some really great ideas were brought to life and all the participants should be proud of your hard work. You guys made it really tough for the judges and I just want to thank everyone who took part in the contest. Great levels and I cannot wait to see what's in store for the next contest.

Congrats to the Vita runner up Kapum, it was a joy to play the awesome 3D glitched temple run styled level.Congratulations to Cakito great level with lots of great gameplay elements. The story made me sad though :(

Can't wait for the next contest! This one was a blast to create, I had so much fun! Those **** bugs, I guess I'll need more time for beta test next time :p

Are we being serious right now?

cakito's entry was legitimately great all around and definitely was a Vita winner in my book, but five-ate-five's was not that great of a level. It was by no means bad, but it was pretty average, if very well presented and charming. The gameplay was generic and never used the time travel mechanic in an involving or meaningful way. Sure, it was cute but there really wasn't anything special about it.

I'm even more surprised The Key is Punctuality didn't get a runner up at the very least. It's difficulty may have been off-putting for some, but it was a thoroughly unique and intelligent level that used time travel in an engaging way. I haven't finished the level yet so maybe there is some unknow aspect holding it back, I don't know.

Well, I probably shouldn't be spoiling the fun. I'm not the judge, maybe there is some amazing aspect I'm just not seeing. Congrats to both winners, enjoy your fabulous new hats.

Congratulations to the winners! I'm just glad i could add a little humor to the contest. When the idea popped into my head, I just couldn't get rid of it, so I had to build the level. next contest, I'll bring my A game.

You made it sooo tough for us to choose a winner too. Each one of the three highest placed PS3 levels had at least 2 judges voting for it as the winner which just shows how evenly split the judges were. Congratulations to Five-ate-Five for coming out on top and well done to pj15 and jauw for running him so close with two great levels.

I just wanted to mention one of the Vita levels too. All the judges loved Timeless Jailbreak by TheBa2ti. It was the Vita level with the most imaginative approach to the time travel theme but it just had one or two too many bugs for it to come out on top. We'd all love to see a more finished version of the level now the contest is over. :)

@bonner - a number of the judges were very impressed with the Key to Punctuality. Again it had a very original take on the time travel theme but also again we felt it just needed a bit more work on it to be a contender. It certainly has the potential to be a great level though and I'm looking forward to having another go at it now that Djibees has made some improvements to it :)

I am pretty much disapointed. I'm sure you have seen angry comments regarding the results of contests before and I'm going to try to be as polite as possible. But really? seriously? Five-ate-five's level was fun to play. But really? it was not bad but by no means was it the best one. You chose a clockwork made of wood on 2 layers as the winning time machine? because a clock is such an original time machine.Cause and effect? I thought this level was about travelling in time I'm not writing simply because the level I wanted to win did not, I'm writing because some entries were simply better and I just can't see whatever made this level better above the others. Whatever. you're the judges after all.

The level was most certainly about time travelling, I threw a seed in the past and it grew into a beautiful tree which helped me progress in the future... on a more destructive note I think I may also be the reason for the extinction of the dinosaurs... cause and effect was really important (as mentioned in the contest brief) and this level framed it in a nice, non buggy way.


Also, its ok if you didn't like this... some of the judges preferred other levels too, but overall the winners had the highest score between us. Don't worry, there will be plenty of contests with a variety winners in the future and I'm sure there will be one which will wow you too.

Congrats you are now within a league of champions :D Wear that crown Loud and Proud. Cause no matter how many were given out in the store yours will always shine brighter :D

However...and please read closely...I fear this is not the end of the LBPC10 Contest. With such talent as was on display here, I suspect one of our brilliant Creators will figure out a way to go back in time, modify their level, and change the voting results to make them the favorite in the next LBPC10 Contest. This will create a chain reaction, and others will do the same, and in the end, everyone will have won. So, I can't wait to see who wins next. LBPC10 was/is the perfect contest. ;)

Having played all the levels myself, I'm not surprised, the results were matching my bets. ;)
Even if I didn't win anything, I'm really happy to get an honorable mention, considering this was my very first level with advanced logic in LBP2.

Congratulations to the winners! :) Nice to see my level as a runner up, too bad they don't get any prizes. Well, it was fun to compete (my first time!), definitely entering other creation contests too!

Congratulations to the winners! Man, this contest was a close run thing. As has been stated, all of the top 3 LBP2 levels had judges passionately fighting their corner to win.

The reason there are no honourable mentions in the Vita contest is simply that with a field of only five entries we didn't feel we could justify having HMs in addition to the winner and runner up. I'm sorry if that decision is tough on your level; we did think hard before making it.

The judges certainly very much liked the concept of your level. We all thought it was a really interesting idea, both clever and original. It's also very well executed from a technical point of view. Everything worked smoothly and the logic is impressive. I can give you a little more detailed feedback by PM on why your level missed out on a place in the top 2, if you want, but I'm not sure this thread is the place for us to explain why we didn't choose particular levels as the winners. :)

Honestly in my opinion, there were much better levels than the winner. And MM picked now?? I could make a level like that in a few days. I thought MM picked levels were supposed to be inspiring and original and something you usually don't see in LBP. That level was a generic platformer with extremely simple visuals and simple logic and it broke like 5 times when I played it. I'm okay that we lost, but we lost to THAT? Even the runner up levels were better and more deserving of winning.
