Since energy and matter seem to be the same substance, if we gather enough energy... we MIGHT be able to create a time travel portal- if Einstein is correct.

However, we can't travel whenever- ONLY as long as the machine is on. If the machine stops at ANY point in time, there is NOTHING to create the gap in space time, as the energy isn't released, and thus, we won't be able to see the past- only the future people of the future can see the past as the beginning of the switch.

Providing, of course, that such a machine doesn't destroy the universe :/.

...I'm sorry I don't c what u did thar. What you said was that because Energy equals Mass times the speed of light squared that Energy IS Matter? Maybe Einstein said this somewhere else, but not in that equation.

Perhaps I understood you, but if Energy is Mass because E=MC^2, then X would be Y in an equation like X=YZ^2

Energy is not matter.
