I want to soon become a donor, but I have some questions to ask:
1. How long does it usually take after you donate to get your Donor status?
2. Is it true that your Donor status stays on your profile forever? :rolleyes:
3. What are the extra privileges of being a donor (access to more forums, avatar size, etc.)?
Well... It shouldn't take too long, but as Taffey is the one that does it, it might take a bit since he has been so busy lately. Hopefully within a day or two and if anyone DOES NOT get it that fast, just send one of the mods a PM and we will reach out and smack him. Literally. lol
To be honest how long it lasts has changed over the years, but I think now a donor is always a donor. Well.. except in the staff's case. Many of us have been donors to the tune of quite a bit of $$, but I don't think I can have the lil blue dot any more being a mod.
If I recall correctly, larger profile space for more PM's, larger avatar as well as animation. Ability to customize your title or avatar message. So instead of saying sackperson, you can change it to whatever within reason and 20 characters. It used to also negate all ads, but Taffey did away with that already, making the site ad free.
