Bethesda Fans: This if for YOU!

So you guys like Bethesda right? You love their game Fallout 3, right? I know I do..

Well it looks like they don't love us.

But this is typical of Bethesda, right? If you're a fan of Bethesda and you own a PS3, you've gotten used to this type of treatment, right?

But, look on the bright side, Bethesda IS getting better on how they treat PS3 members. I mean, hey, at least we got a patch for this game, right? AND TROPHIES! So thanks Bethesda for being so generous! Thanks for caring enough about your PS3 customers that you are willing to spit in their direction! :p

This is one of those cases where you hate the company, but love the product. Their games are probably my favorites, but I can't stand them. That's why I try to support them as little as possible.

Honeslty I don't want the patch because of how the game ended it would be beyond stupid to leave you play on

With Oblivion we didn't receive DLC and suddendly the "Game of the year edition" (including the DLC obviously) ended up on shelves a year later.

My little finger is telling me you should simply sell your Fallout3 and wait for its Game of the year edition.

smart as usual ranger, how smart of them. make PS3 users by the first game (well not make them but deceive them) and then instead of letting them get DLC just make them buy a whole new game for it. i think your prob right

The news that this was going to happen was public before the game was released, much like with GTA IV. Microsoft paid big bucks for exclusive DLC. It's sad, but it's true. I bought the PS3 version anyway because an additional 100 hours on my 360 may well have pushed it out of the proverbial window. It's a shame, but life moves on and there are plenty of exclusives for the PS3 this year, and it all just about balances out in the end.

This is ridiculous. We don't get this patch or the DLC. :(

I've not seen Fallout 3 yet and Bethesda if you're reading this I sure as hell won't buy it either. But have a nice day anyways.

true but chances are i may not even care about those games. i guess its obviously all personal prefference i've always been a HUGE fallout fan so its very upsetting to me

I think that to not release a patch that should correct bugs IS a cheap move no matter how you look at it. The DLC doesn't tell us much about the guys over there but that patch tells you alot more.

It could always be possible, even if MS did secure some limited exclusivity.

It's not a patch to fix bugs it's a patch to leave you play after finishing the story which would be stupid because of how the game ends

[SPOILER]Well, you CHOOSE how the story ends, so it isn't stupid to be able to play after it. As long as you get the Lyons girl to go in for you.

And, as for Fawkes...I shot him after I learned that he wouldn't go in the thing for me. :(

And if you don't poison the water so that the mutants die, then the game should be fine. Nothing REALLY changes except that there's now fresh clean water. It's still a wasteland. [/SPOILER]
