constructive criticism

My latest sig, was bored while waiting for RE5 demo to download. lol

one thing I was wondering if anyone knows how to prevent the image quality from going to garbo after uploading ... I love the contrast between the black and the image on my photo editor but when uploaded its lost.. and that makes me sad. =(

oh btw I fails at the text placing so any help or text ideas would be nice, I am looking for the marvel text but seems to be harder then I thought... =/
