This is still just anecdotal evidence though.
Oh and no games are causing this to happen. It's the hardware that breaks at some point, regardless the games you played.

I have gotten the YLOD once before. I had been watching movies for about 7 days without any turn off time. It beeped and YLOD came on. At that time, I had no idea what it was. I just though... MAybe Ill leave it xD. Worked fine since.
