I looked at some pictures and then drew it. Most of the detail is on Snake and his gun.

Don't have Haze but I wanted to make a Haze sig anyway. I made it on powerpoint- used powerpoint for it's easy fill effects that can be made transparent.

Same render as my HAZE sig, and logo :)

It just took me a while to find what I was looking for. By the way, that background image was green originally but I made it greyscale, then put a square over it in powerpoint. I then changed the fill effects untill it looked like that.

I already have but I usually just keep them in the background. If you look closely behind the C4D there is another background made of fill effects.

I suddenly have a craving for you to make a Killzone sig, GUNR. This is just because most of your signatures are rather dark, and I think it'd look pretty good :)

Geez... I'm obsessed with FPSes at the moment, which I'm usually not a fan of.

Hmm... the Killzone one is okay, but for some reason it isn't as eye-catching as some of your other sigs.

:pYeah, I know what you mean. As I said, it wasn't what I set out to make but there seems to be something missing. Normally I don't like to leave blank spaces but I did in this one. After I did the first one I quickly corrected it and it didn't look as good as I wanted it. I'm planing on making another Killzone 2 one though.:kz:

Also it may have been because of the C4D in the background. I didn't take my time to select the best suiting one for the image.

Mm... that's what I thought, most Killzone sigs I've seen are pretty intense. :kz:

I took my time on it better and found a better C4D. Nothing much happening in it but it's still better than the 1st. I tried to make it almost have a glassy type of border, it's entirely made on powerpoint.

me wants that background and on GIMP how do you make the whites transparent its really anoying because i cant find out how and when i try cut the pic down to the exact image size the white is still there

I did it on powerpoint.:p

S-A-S, if you use GIMP I advise you to use some more filters, experiment a bit, thats what I did, using combinations of pen/filters you can get some very cool effects, such as fire. :)

There are a HUGE amount of filters at your disposal :) (If you use GIMP or PS)

Also perhaps use a smaller size for your sigs, I find it makes them look much 'cleaner' as there is less open space :) I use 400x125.

its just cos the first person ones are to big screen for them things so generally in the contest you need it double height.

Thanks for the info. Most of the time though (well almost all of the time) I'm using powerpoint. All of my sigs made, even if they contained an element of GIMP, had a screenshot of them taken and were moved onto powerpoint. If you notice, what I call, the 'glassy' borders that I have used for the recent sigs, then they were entirely made on powerpoint aswell.

I know that I would probably make better sigs if I moved on to GIMP, but I know fully how to use layers and stuff on powerpoint. All you have to do is right-click and you can change a shape's layer.

I used to use that, but I switched to 450x150 for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Infact, I actually got the initial size of 400x125 from you. :O

You're pretty good now, SAS. It's amazing how you use Word and Powerpoint, I could never do anything half as good in those programs.

You're avatar is simple but very good by the way, it matches your excellent Killzone sig.

Ok, I'll put an outline around it. Tried to make it look like the Burnout paradise logo aswell.
I'll do everything else said there. I'll upload one version with the civillian again and then one of the citizen.
