I've thought up a nice simple but usefull setup. The use for it in my level is not much but you guys might be able to use it. I don't know if someone cooked it up before me, as it is quite simple but just in case no one did.
Safe impact explosives:
If you want to trow bombs around you always run the risk of killing sackboy, this might not always be your intention as you just might want to blow up the level a bit. Then my set-up could be handy: just place a player sensor on a impact explosive, wire it to the explosive itself and set the radius to match the blast radius. Capture it and it can be set to emitters or place it anywhere you want.
This causes the explosive to detonate itself JUST before it gets in range. The visual effect is great but is doesn't make for cheap kills. I'm not sure how it works on extreme speeds but I think fiddling with the radius might get you a long way.
You can offcourse do this with magnetic switches too or use it in different ways, it's just an idea. The last bombs that remain firing in my last level (see sig) are of this type, play around with it if you like to check out the effect.
Let me know if you used this, and for what :)
