Should i get a PS3?

A different question this time - should i?

With this hype for LBP3, i really want a PS3 just so i can join in and get it when it comes out (or even betatest :gopher: ). I also really want to create levels on LBP2 too, i haven't tried that before and really want to in the near future.

So. I've found a PS3 with controller for just 145 euros at my local Used Products. They also have games for 10 bucks too, so i'm guessing that it's a good deal.

I'm just not sure wether to get it. You see, if LBP3 gets cancelled for the PS3, i could have wasted all my money (although.. well, i still have LBP2 which is still awesome).


So, should i get a PS3? Not only that, but in general a few questions about LBP2:

- Instruments? I heard that some instruments you have are excluded on LBP2 and included with the Move Pack. How does this work? Are all the instruments on the Vita version or not? Any help?

- How does crossbuy work? I have the Timesaver DLC on my Vita (and costumes, ofcourse), but does that instantly work with my PS3 aswell? Do i need to pay extra? How does it work!?

- In general, should i wait out for more info on LBP3 for PS3 or should i get it? I feel like this is a now-or-never moment seeing the price. Who knows, maybe someone buys it before me...

If you have to pay more then 200$ for A PS3 then no. Just get PS4, especially since the PS4 version of LBP3 will very likely be better. *mew

And why will it be better? I won't have to pay 200 at all, just 155, which is definitely not much.

There are many reasons why PS4 version MAY be better.

PS4 version likely will be 60 FPS. PS3 version won't be higher then 30 FPS.
PS4 version will likely look better with better graphics. PS3 version likely won't look much better then LBP2.
Ps4 version likely will have much higher thermometer limit allowing for far more epic levels. PS3 version thermometer likely will be just as limited as it is in LBP2.
PS4 version has a good chance of being less buggy since it's on better hardware.

These are pretty much just logical guesses since we haven't seen the PS3 version yet whatsoever. But it's very likely all true. *mew

PS4 has no LBP2. PS4 has no LBPK. PS4 has no LBP1.

Many reasons why i'd rather get a PS3 than a PS4. Not only that, but i'm charmed enough by LBP2's graphics, so...

I don't really want to discuss only about what's the better console, i also asked a few other questions regarding LBP2 which i REALLY want answers about.

You have to re-download costumes on each game if you want them on the different games. re-downloading is free.

I don't have a Vita but heard LBPvita has the exact same instruments LBP2 has. And yes you need the Move pack to unlock some of the instruments on LBP2. *mew

That means i need a Move controller and everything too, right? D:

You only need a online friend who has a MOVE to join with in order to play the packs and get everything inside.

Oh, okay. So do i need the pack too? Just asking..

And does Timesaver work instantly?

there is no Time Saver on LBP2 or LBP1.

And yes you need to own the move pack to get anything inside.
