Oh, was wondering if there would be one for LBP3. Not too sure, but it seems a bit closer to release than the other ones.

Can someone explain to me what "gamejam" is? I haven't seen this before.
Essentially, a whole lotta fun between the developers and some very lucky community members. You'll probably see the fruits of their labour in upcoming promotional content and a thread of information overload if past game jams are anything to go by. Don't quote me on it though.Quote:

Hope they give us a very detailed run down of all the new tools and create stuff. As a creator I prefer to know how everything works far ahead of time so I can have a good head start in general with my level/game planing. *mew
Edit: Never mind. Everything is being shown off on twitter already from the game jam people. So shouldn't be to long before it's all put together on a fact page.
Really looking forward to what comes out of this gamejam. LBP2's gamejam was amazing!
Rialrees shared a few snaps on her twitter account. A lot of cool new features. Including a water object (possibly able to swim in), sackbot animations, loads of new effects. Not that I'm ever gonna use these things since my design skills are very limited, but hey, I'm excited. There's a post I found on Neogaf with a lot of info. The object saver sounds interesting; its saves its state; does that mean it also saves its location too ?
Hey guys! This weekend was a blast, we're all on our way to separate ends if the country (and Germany!) so may go quiet for a while, but I know lots of us are planning loads if stuff to share in more detail with you all very soon (we did what we build last night but 140 characters is just never enough to rave about this bucket of awesomeness!!!

lol I was a photo taking demon last night! Ran out of steam in the end :( I wish I could have just sat and photographed the whole of create mode.... in fact I was pretty tempted at one point lol - going to try and sum up as many of my thoughts on create as I can tonight, while I have peace and quiet in the house :)
In all seriousness, I'm so glad that the news we shared with you guys is helping you feel happy and excited for lbp3 (which you totally should be btw, because it is seriously all kinds of awesome. I mean... seriously. Geez.) - I remember back in the Vita Gamejam, we all got kind of carried away, and whilst we shared what we could with you all after the event, I know people would have been happier to know right away - I think thats what caused my twitter explosion last night lol!

One picture shows a giant cat creature ... is that fully animated? In short, can we create our own characters? I've got so many questions, I don't know where to start. The cat seemed the logical place! Oh, and in the banana nunchuck vine, we see the gorilla explode into what appears to be confetti. Are there other such effects we can apply to characters? With the transmit logic, can you alter the values at it's destination ... how to explain? Let's say I have some lift logic that I want to beam across my level, and I have several lifts in that level, but some have more floors than others, can I alter the value of the transmission on reaching the lift so that it works with 3 or 5 or 7 floors?Quote:
