Hi guys and gals,
I finally finished my new level. As I always try to not repeat myself in my approaches, this one is also different from my previous levels. UB&G is intended for beginners, kids and your girlfriend that just started playing. It's kinda funny, it's cute (make me hungry actually) and I did put stuff for experienced players too. If you're good at exploring and with LBP physics you can score easily over 30 000 bubble points.
Have fun + any feedback is welcomed. I leave you with some pictures.

My son LOOOVES this level! Interestingly, I do to. This level has such a warm, funny, and overall polish to it. It's actually infectious running around grabbing the point bubbles. I love the mechanic of pulling open the "bubble bins" - even though technically it shouldn't matter, it actually added to the fun pulling open these boxes and trying to grab the points really fast before they fell off a ledge.
The many places where you get thrown up in the air are a lot of fun, and throwing yourself onto the big cake at the end was a riot.
No negative comments - thiis level is fantastic! Obviously, 5 stars and a heart.F4F Participant

I had a really good time playing this level. It is well designed, with just a teeny hint of a challenge near the end, lots of very good text for new users, and plenty of eye candy (in the form of... candy - and cake, and ice cream , and jello, and cinnamon rolls, etc.).
Okay - now I'm getting hungry.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... caaaaaake...
EDIT: Oh yeah - 5 stars and a Heart !! Nice work.

I played through it last night and it's cool! I have to admit, as a woman, when I saw the term "Girlfriends" in the title I was a little indignant but I soon came to my senses. It's for inexperienced players and statistically that would involve a lot of girlfriends so I'm cool with it.

I love your theme. The sweets and fruit are pretty and very accessible for younger players and ladies (in general). I also thought it was brilliant to give experienced players the option to not get the hints. I think this might be one of the best examples of having layers of difficulty on a level too. Sure you can get through it relatively easy but if you have some skills getting the bubble combinations is challenging. Nicely done.
I only managed about 24,000 points to I'll have to try for that 30,000 again!
Thanks for sharing it - It's a lot of fun!

Tks alot for the feedback. I'm actually pleasantly surprised at the reactions towards the level so far. I actually didn't really meet any harsh critic yet. And yeah the "girlfriend" is the joke. It's actually my girlfriend (just started playing videogame) that fooled proof tested the level. I suppose you noticed the whole level is actually humoristic. Did you like my narcissic heart dude? Found some secrets?

This level has a very cool, very unique style. It's very well constructed and looks fantastic. Great work.

I really like your main character in particular.

well, I WAS gonna wait to post this up until it needed a bump, but i gotta say, this level is really really really well constructed. great idea on the tips, the decoration and use of materials was overall quite fantastic. (great job using those never-used valentines pack materials!)
My wife played with me, and when we were done, she went and made some pudding... the level really got to her. fantastic job on this level, 5 stars, and a heart from me, and my wife wanted to give you props for the level as well!My F4F: Trap McSack!

I found this level great! I liked those points chest around the level that you grab, the main character, the idea of having tips and having secret areas is always a bonus. The visuals were good too (mmmm, cake). My only complaint is that on the cotton picking part the "cotton" you grab isn't decorated, you could add some stickers onto them to make them more better visually.
Overall 5 stars and a heart.Hey, sorry to be a bit of an advertising board here, but try out my new platforming level- Mad Metropolis! Be warned though, it's very long and challenging!
