Oh how I love how everyone here bites into every piece of bait; hook, line and sinker... Rock is not going anywhere...And I'm not sure there is anyone here (save maybe one or two...) who would ever want to see him, it, or the others fail.
A never-before-seen-epic-series of levels will be released... It is instant phenomenon out of sheer size and will be an instant classic here @ the central granting some 'cult-hero' status... I'm looking at you Rock. The designers will be hailed! Feelings will get hurt out of unintended neglect, discussions will be plentiful on the merits of the levels-each on their own, and how they factor into the whole... Others will say how they could've done it better... but haven't... others' will emulate and fail... Mm will take note... Kudos will abound and in that moment --none of this crap will be on anyones' mind--
And as Jww estimated, I have always only been a PM away, but I am not some 'Johnny come lately' and I don't require fame or notoriety to define me through this project... and I also know those currently involved can get it done just fine all on their own... I just want to see this THING done. Really. The longer something like this sits... the less likely it is to become reality. This, however is too far along to ever stall-out now... this is an inevitability. On the plus side, its taken so long that the re-vamped and re-done look far superior to their original counterparts... so theres, even yet another positive out of all the mess.
Ask your Mom, giving birth never comes without some form of pain.
Oh and Burn- that was a very nice 'long and winding...' comment................................................... ...................
"The world strode slowly upon my heart measuring precisely each fractal footfall with shiftless negligence. I lay in its' wake scathe-sighted, the Gravel of Man, pandering pan in hand prospecting paradise, and you... talk of my immortal soul?"
With A Name Like GRAVEL... you can count on a rash!

You forget who will be recording it all though Gravel.
MM will probably post our video on their site and twitter and such and LBPC and Sackinima will get more popular.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people who will be like, "Ooh, a place that actually hosts good levels! I've got to go look!"
Even if some H4H'ers come here, we'll straighten them out! Oh, we'll straigten them out alright! We could bring out a whip... If neccessary...

you know in the subject of LBPC, and games....what would you all do if Mm made a DLC level pack about LBPC?
would be interesting to say the least
but yeah this project itself has gone long enough....hopefully its out before LBP2 is....then Mm can check this out and give people crowns lol

Well, since CC owns this site, I'd assume he'd be involved somehow and we wouldn't be. Not sure if MM would know enough about us to make it as full as members as we've tried to do :/
Anyway... Remember that oft-mentioned level 9? I've heard back from Rick lately that level 9 may be a few weeks away.
Now, the thing you have to understand is that level 9 is, in a way, our most ambitious of the levels, so I can't wait to see what they do with that
.
The news that that's going along well, have re-bolstered my hopes that this will be out by the end of August. Don't take me up on that just yet, I'm just saying I really think we have a good chance- and really want to- have this done before I go back to school. So yes.

This statement is true.

Hi All!
Some more details...and Level 9 is full of them btw
.
First: We do provide updates, but maybe not as frequently as some would like, especially when they've been chomping at the bit for over a year...but then again, so have several of us Team members.
But our Team is not in the habit of building garbage, or 3 minute eggs. With that said, trying to achieve perfection with just a handful of people is a daunting task, especially when you consider the fact there are over 20,000 objects in all of the levels and minigames of this entire series, which does not include the many hundreds of custom stickers we have made of objects we created to reduce thermo.
Does that qualify as daunting--I think yes? Can the magnitude of this take it's toll on the members of the Team that have come and gone, and are still here--that answer is yes as well.
Keeping things in perpective, we all want this project to be completed as soon as possible, but we can't compromise quality in doing so. We want to create something memorable for this community and ourselves, something epic, a masterpiece.
Several of us have demanding jobs that require a lot of our time, as well as school, so we give up precious sleep to realize a dream. This journey has taken us across every terrain imaginable, but we are still on the road and pushing forward.
Even though tensions may be running high, it's because there is finally a finish line in sight.
Imagine walking for days without water and finally seeing a mountain spring in the distance. You break into a sprint to reach the water as quickly as possible, overcome by the desire to drink. But what if you are with a group of people, a Team for example. You all still sprint to the mountain spring, because everyone is thirsty, but do you all reach it at the same time? Most likely not. Some are more tired than others, because of the toll the journey has taken on their bodies. But they are sprinting nonetheless...just a bit slower.

Absolutely cannot wait for this. My only regret is not having established myself enough as a creator to help with this project in the first place.

I can see this thread slowly returning back on topic

Still, to hasten that process, I PM'd CC to ask him to come and sort a few things out. Hopefully then, we can all return to the happeh, jolleh, pretteh site we all know and love! And if not, I'm quitting and going to Candlepants
I finally got a new PS3, so I should be fairly active around here again! I missed you all!

The Logic level sounds so cool! I can't wait to side with the logicks against the artists!!

Oh, what's CC going to do exactly? I thought we all sorted everything out... and if not, not too sure he knows enough since he's pretty much been nonexistent with everything related to this project (he still hasn't actually seen any of it outside the trailer. DI can see this thread slowly returning back on topic

so not too sure what he can do right now... but yeah.
Anywho... Um... nothing at the moment from me, still waiting at college for some class... I hope Burnvictim will be done level 13 soon. Takelow would then fix up and isolate the bosses for levels 7, 10 and 11, and when Rick is done with the boss for level 9... Burn will throw together a boss rush together. hopefully it'll all fit... Getting kinda crowded now, but maybe some material change that and if not, then thermo glitch it a bit.
Takelow will be finishing up 10 soon, at which point he will touch up 7 (he touched up 3 a while ago, don't really think much more needs to be done there) and anything remaining with 11 (probably not much) and of course get those bosses. SLS10 is finishing up a minigame which, although the simplest of all of the minigames, is insanely fun.
Lady and rick are finishing up 9, Joey may or may not be doing characters for that.
Aside from that, and a bit of tweaking on old levels, not much needs to be done aside from the Credits and another minigame (which is what I needed those avatars for). We MAY decide not to make the final minigame just because, honestly, everyone's getting tired- which would be a shame since I love the concept- and the Credits/ Vault level shouldn't be THAT hard... we don't ahve to get too in depth, really...
And that's pretty much all that remains. Oh, and I need to write up a bunch of stuff. Oh great. lol
and wait... kernel... how do you... who told... you... I don't remember... saying anything... someone leaked? <_<
Eh, whatever, people now know a bit more I guess.
This statement is true.

Man, these levels will be epic. I am excited to see how it all turns out. I better start practicing my skills...I have a feeling there will be some great challenges.
