A steve_big_guns Tribute

Hey everyone! Check out my "A steve_big_guns Tribute" level!

The level is about steve (duh) and how he is one of the greatest creators in LBP. i also am trying to get MM to give steve a crown. He clearly deserves it after all the sweet costume levels he gave to use. He also provided tutorials. If that doesnt give you a crown i dont know what will.

Also, ppl keep leaving nasty comments. so...:

1. i was friends with steve b4 i made this, so im not trying to be his bff and kiss up to him, as one person commented.
2. im not g4y....... so stop putting g4y comments.
3. if he didnt include one costume u wish he would have doesnt mean ur a better creator than him. also if you have a costume tutorial too and u think u deserve a crown too, you're not as good as him so u shouldnt get one, bcuz ive played every costume tutorial an almost all of them suck, that i can say with confidence......
4. the more haters i get, the more i know im doing well, so i dont care if u leave hate mail...

Hardly a friendly way to welcome people into playing your level! So, we're supposed to play it, and offer feedback, but you're not really bothered what we say?

^^^He just meant that towards anyone who will reply with the type of comments he's gotten in game, about gayness and sucking up... not anything to do with valid feedback or thoughts.

He's new to this board, and isn't used to people who aren't insane, so he's on the defensive.

Haha it was pretty cool I like those type of entrances, I think he does deserve a crown since obviously he made those costumes.
Well the level itself is nice has steve seen it?

Oh yeah, I forgot my feedback. I think it's pretty cool, very well made, and probably one of the best story mode intro-style levels I've seen. It's a nice thing to do for a friend, and with all the crowns they throw around, who knows?

I'm all about shouting out my good friends too, as you'll see in my next project

Everything that guy makes turns 2 gold. Hes got so many author hearts. I bet everyone that reads this has a costume compliments of SBG... & for that he does deserve a crown. I liked the level. funny

Yep, steve is ace at making level's. If anyone deserves a crown its him.

I dont really care for costume levels, but aside from the costume and mini game levels, he has some genius real levels, especially his unreleased secret one, which is incredible.
As for your level, its the best tribute level out there.Unlike everybody who just takes pics of levels and slaps it on cardcoard and publishes,you actually made a thought out, well designed, and imaginative tribute level. I was impressed when you told me you recreated that mario section.I was under the impression that steve cut out a piece of his level and sent it to you XD.I really think you should stop making mini games and gimmick levels and make a full length level, you could definately make a nice one.

I won't comment on the whole does he or doesn't he deserve a crown because really for me it's irrelevant. I did check out your level with two friends and their reaction was really interesting. The older player thought it was cool and the younger (heavily into costumes) player felt all insulted and I think she left you a comment that wasn't very nice. For that I apologise. Her opinion is not shared by me.

That said - I think the level was really solidly built and had some cool sections. I particularly liked how you had it set up much like the MM intro level with the cute little scenes and lots of graph paper and mechanics showing. Really nicely done. The title treatment alone was pretty darn impressive. In terms of play factor, it's more or less a walkthrough but a really nicely done one. Good luck on your crown crusade. You make a persuasive case.
