The Tournament

Molgor could hear the rustling in the trees above. He quickly got on all fours and sprinted for the base of a thick oak tree. He heard a 'thwoosh' and 'thud' as something hit the tree where he had just stood.

His fur changed colour to a dark brown to blend in with this massive tree. He found a thick branch that had fallen, leaving a jagged point at one end. He scanned the dark dense canopy for his target, feeling glad that he could see in the dark. He saw something move out of the corner of his eye. He made sure it was Knil before releasing the spear-like branch with immense power.

'I hope the next round is a little less violent' he thought.

[Sage]

Knil held his breath and stood as still as possible to stay out of sight. If that monster found him he would be impaled in a fraction of a second. He couldn't light a bomb, but wait. He put his hat on a bomb and carefully tossed it from the tree hoping Molgor would mistake it for him...

To molgor it seemed as though knil exploded into flames. The light blinded him. He fell to the floor and blended in with the roots. At least Molgor knew that the forest was too damp for a fire to spread.

[Sage]

When Molgor fell Knil knew this was his chance. He jumped from the tree unsheathed his sword and pointed it right at Molgor...

((Try and be a bit more descriptive... like how you managed to see me when I am camoflauged and how you released the bomb at the last second so I didn't notice the switch... O_o... It's pretty hard to RP when you can't tell how things are happening.))

Molgor's senses slowly returned. First was his hearing. He heard a dull thud as something landed near him and the scrape of metal. He could tell Knil had unsheathed his sword and had somehow found him. Next was his sight. He saw the elf's feet speeding towards him. He managed to push himself back just inches, but it was enough. The sword plummeted into the earth where his head was just moments before. Molgor was fully alert now.

He pushed himself off the ground and into the air using his hind legs and extended his claws to full length. He bore down on his target who had a terrified look on his face as he struggled to pull his sword out of the ground.

'Got him already' thought Molgor.

The robed mans quarters were quiet in spite of the unfolding events. Night had fallen upon the castle, and the robed man sat their quietly, gazing into the fire. Suddenly, a small imp burst forth from the flames, smirking as he bowed before the robed man. "Master says the entertainment has been splendid so far." spoke the imp with a devilish laugh, "but he recommends you spice up the drama, lest he get bored..."

"As long as he stays by his original promise, I'll be happy to allow some drama to ensue." said the robed man with a cackle.

"Very well, I shall leave then."

With that, the imp hopped into the fireplace, disappearing in a burst of flame.

Struggling to pull his sword out of the ground he noticed the large being flying towards him. He couldn't get his sword out of the ground. "******!" Knil yelled as he let the sword go and left it in the ground...

The elf suddenly shot away into the night. Molgor missed by just inches, slicing the air where Knil's throat should have been. He tucked his head down to his chest and did a full roll, pushing off the ground at the last second to grab onto a thick branch high up in the tree. If not for his fur he would have looked like a silhouette against the moon.

The sky suddenly turned grey and rain started gushing down from above. He could hear the rumble of thunder in the distance.

'This will show him.' he thought.

Without his sword Knil was almost defenseless. And to make it worse it started to rain. He took out his hookshot again and shot up to another tree. He waited in the tree with his bow ready to fire...

((I wanted to make my last post longer but I couldn't fit any more on my PSP. ))

Molgor swung up onto the thick branch. It creaked a little under his weight, but the noise was nothing compared to the thunder, now booming around the sky above him and echoing around the forest. The rain was torrential now and the canopy gave very little cover.

The rain was like a veil, shielding his opponent. So now the pair could neither see nor hear eachother. Molgor decided it was time to follow his nose. It had never let him down before.

The hunt is on...

Knil couldn't see anything in this thick blanket of rain. He knew Molgor was hunting for him, so he had to sneak. Lightning struck and hit a tree, the burning tree fell to the ground. Providing light for a minimal amount of time until the rain put it out. "If this could keep happening maybe I could find Molgor" Knil thought.
The lightning was getting closer to the tree Knil was in. He noticed it and quickly jumped out of his tree before it was struck by lightning. Knil was now on the ground, "No sword, and I doubt any of my other stuff will work in this rain. I am completely defenseless except for my shield." Knil whispered to himself. He sat on the ground sheltered by a tree, waiting for Molgor to find him...

Molgor kept catching the whif of his prey but the smell of burning wood kept letting it escape. He headed in the direction of the smell. Climbing over masses of roots and fallen branches.

A tree was struck by a strike of lightning. The resulting crack of the tumbling tree sent a boom out around the forest. As the light from the fire dimmed down to a glowing ember, Molgor saw a bright green up against the base of a large oak. He knew that his fur would render him almost invisible to any watching eyes. He crept around to behind the tree, although he could have been as careless as he liked as the rain would have drowned out any noise he made. He climbed the tree to a branch above the elf's head and dived down, claws fully extended, towards Knil's skull.

'PWNED' he thought.

[Sage]

Knil sat there, worried Molgor was going to pop out of nowhere. And he did. Molgor came crashing down on Knil crushing nearly every bone in his body, killing Knil...

"Well that's a nice little mess you made Molgor."

Shadows overtook the elf and the beast, and they both awoke in their cells.

"Link Knil -1, Molgor +1

Those of you who have naught yet to go, prepare yourselves. That is all."

[Sage]

Knil feeling like he had just been born, stood up. "That was a pretty rough game, but good job..." Knil said as he sat back down in his cage, and began to play his ocarina...

Cohggus watched as the two fighters reappeared in their cells. Then a voice boomed overhead telling those who hadn't fought to get ready. Cohggus stood up, stretching out his massive wings. Then he turned to face the back of his cell, and 'released' some of his bodily fluids. Zipping up his FLY OF GODS, he turned around, and then layed down on the ground, to push himself back up, then back down. He was doing push-ups, readying himself physically for the fight. After 10 minutes of that he did some sit-ups, and after another 10 minutes he starting doing jumping jacks. After he had finished all this, he sat back down, and started to meditate. He didn't even break a sweat.

Then he looked up. "Get ready, I may not be the same until after the fight."

He looked back down, and slowly his suit started to glow a bright white, then it faded away, revealing red glowing veins pulsing around the suit.

Then he looked back up. "What are you looking at!" he shouted at his fellow fighters.

Shadows overtook Cohggus and Netic.

A vision comes into being. A labyrinth build atop a hill, in it's midst a great castle, somewhere inside, dwell the minotaur, whom wields the power of a demi-god and a great battle axe that weighs 300 lbs.

Cohggus Maximus II and Netic found themselves in this terrible place, both shadowed by it's immense walls, alone and lost amongst it's immensity.

A voice echoed between it's walls, "The one to kill the minotaur wins, but be warned. He has power akin to that of a demi-god. Muahahahaha~"

The laugh faded into the shadows of the labyrinth, and the two warriors began their journey into it's darkness.

Molgor returned to his corner and said, "Good game."

He then watched some guy excercise and whatched them dissapear.

Victor sat back and watched as the beast crushed defenseless Knil, and were instantly teleported. The winged-man-freak-thing was up next, as well as that guy who gave him the ice cream. Victor secretly rooted for Netic, but knew that it was for naught. The angel man would put up a really good fight.

((P.S. Who will control the minotaur? :O))
