Ways of getting an LBP crown?

I've heard if you get 100,000 views on your level you get a crown. Is that true? Because I have around 40,000 in 3 days...

And I'm really aiming for the crown.

Ahh, I really wish that they did it like that. Each level that get's 100K views get's a crown.

I would rather get one for the quality of my work over the amount of plays personally. I have one about to hit 100,000, but would rather they look at my latest level rather than that one.

Competitions are the way to go. I got one for being a finalist, didn't even have to win lol.

Having said that, haven't MM given a few out for stuff unrelated to level building? Maybe you should dress up as Sackboy and try and get in view on a news report or something.

I got my crown for something unrelated to level building. I got one for an animation. Accidentally. :P Also, another member here got one for making a scrap book, and someone else got one for a very well done machinima.

Generally speaking, media molecule has always said that if you do something to truly wow them, they'll probably give you a crown. Sony also gives out crowns for exceptional levels, as witnessed by GruntosUK's crowning about a month ago. ^_^

Kiminski's right though, competitions are definitely the way to go. It may take a little while for them to judge the competition, but a whole bunch of people received one for the golf contest. They've had a few others, too.

I got the 1st run crown. It is the original one not the knock off ones made in China they are giving out these days.

Got mine from 1st level contest MM puts on every once in awhile.

Some possible ideas:

a) Do a movie documentary about the making of LittleBigPlanet
b) Jump off a tall building in NYC with a parachute that looks like a big sackboy
c) Buy 500 copies of LittleBigPlanet and cover the entire outside of your car with the disks.... then drive it back and forth in front of the MM offices.
d) Build the ENTIRE Halo video game series inside LittleBigPlanet
