I hear these amazing songs that should be a part of LBP, some are, but we can't use them, why not? That would be very nice if they were in that upcoming music pack.

Good question. We seem to have limited amounts of "tweakable" music, so why not release the seeming plethora of un-tweakable music tracks like this to give us more variety? They are completed and ready to go... so why not at least give us more music options if we can't tweak more of what we already have?
I think we're all getting tired of hearing the same old music over and over again.
Take your copy of LBP3, put it back in it's case, wrap it up in some nice holiday paper, and stick it under your tree in hopes it will be fixed and playable by Christmas morning.
DEVS - If you want to know what's wrong with your game why don't you just throw a copy in your machines and play it? Just a thought.

Well, considering most of these songs are in the game I think it's safe to assume that Mm wanted to have some music specifically for certain things, like the tutorials, and certainly the intro, which is a phenomenal cinematic.
Although some of those songs I don't recognize from anything, like Sepia Tones. I would love to have that track available in create mode. Very interesting question. Anyone know what the story is with this soundtrack?
EDIT: Amazon lists the soundtrack NOT as the LBP "OST" - but as "Little BIG Music: Musical Oddities From And Inspired By Little Big Planet". So perhaps some of these don't have anything directly to do with LBP - and I would assume that they were either unused tracks that the Orchestra published on this record, or perhaps even music that was never considered for the game, but created around the same time or after. Have to look into it more though.
EDIT 2: From Littlebigland.com's feature on Daniel Pemberton: "Alongside the eleven tracks featured in the game this unique eighteen track album also features other material that didn’t make the final product, as well as an exclusive specially extended version of the game’s wondrous opening music ‘The Orb Of Dreamers’."Last edited by Teebonesy; 09-25-2009 at 05:11 AM.

MAN I LOVE THOSE SONGS!!!
I would especially like it if they gave us the 'My Advice' ones and the background in the tutorials, but I doubt they will. Oooh I gotta get these on my i-Pod!!!

There's another good song that I didn't post, I think it's called Put Your Boots On or something. It can be found on Youtube.

We NEED Clouds Observer, Get Your Boots On and On the Waves, those 3 are perfect for ideas I have and would work so well with the game altogether.
We all know the My Advice songs are Audio Objetcs, you can see them in the Creator Pack tutorials easily, so I think they'll very likely be in the music pack.

'On the Waves' sounds like something that would be played at a funfair- which can be found on piers- the rumoured pier background....
Maybe water pack
I love the songs anyway. My favourites are 'On the Waves' and 'Sepia Tones'.I finally got a new PS3, so I should be fairly active around here again! I missed you all!

Clouds Observer is amazing, it's full of emotion and has a really nice 'hollow' quality to it. I'd love to see that in LBP.
Sepia Tones is kind of fun as well, it seems to be inspired by old craftworky kid shows like Bagpuss
Get your Boots on is really good too, someone should link to that

There was a My Advice pt. 3, should it be added?

"Get Your Boots On" RAWKS!! Wouldn't it be great if we got these AND they were editable? (not holding my breath though
)
So... is this album actually out anywhere? I can't seem to find it with the exception of Itunes and I'm not into downloading.Last edited by Rustbukkit; 09-27-2009 at 11:06 PM.

I agree, it's a great song! It would work well with a wild west level.
