Just saw the first episode! I wasn't going to watch it, but they were really pushing to get the LOST fans to start watching it so I couldn't help but go for it
I thought it was a good premiere, and I'm excited to see where it goes. Not gonna be nearly as good as LOST though I don't think, largely because I didn't think the acting was outstanding.
But yeh, I'll be watching it!

Okay, so here's the thing. This might sound kinda stupid, but I never saw the first 17 minutes of the show until now.
We recorded it from T.V., and my dad seemed to think we'd only missed a couple minutes - but yeah, I found out that we missed 17 minutes. Maybe our computer blacked out for the first 17 minutes
Anyways, after seeing the first 17 minutes I still agree with most of what I said, but I really liked the opening, so yeah I'm a bit more hopeful about it now and definitely think it's worth watching!
EDIT: By the way, anyone into podcasts, check out "FlashForwardCast with Jay and Jack"

I googled and came up with Five for the channel it is on in the UK...but I live in the US, so I can't be sure.

Great episode 2! I'm still liking it, although I'm also still finding some characters a little weak.
*Episode 2 discussion*
The title was really interesting - "White to Play". I didn't even realize what it meant until I listened to "The FlashForwardCast with Jay and Jack". If you remember, they found a white chess piece in the room D. Gibbons explosified.
So 'white to play' is referring to D. Gibbons as white in a chess game, making the first move.
What's most interesting about that is how white is usually associated with 'good' rather than 'evil'. So is D. Gibbons good? Or are the writers reversing the colours - and if they are, what does that mean?
Just some symbolism I found interesting.
Also, gotta say, either Olivia has to STOP being so open, or Mark has to open up about his drinking problem. Personally I think Mark should open up, seeing as Olivia has.
Another really cool theory I heard - the FBI lady who is pregnant in the future: maybe she was impregnated during the blackout? The tummy looked to be about right for 6 months, so that would make sense and be pretty intriguing.
All in all, the show is definitely shaping up - I'd like to see it improve more though.

Loving this so far. Wasn't sure where they'd go after the blackout happened, but its becoming quite interesting. Don't think episode 2 was as good as the first, but I'm just waiting for Domonic Monaghan to arrive.

Great show. I prefer series like this over movies. It makes me all the more disappointed I never ever saw an episode of Lost. Anyone care to give me a run down of what happened in Lost?
