Wow so I just did my best game yet.

It was in domination? Or whatever it's called. I had a total of 10863 XP earned, 59 kills, 3 assists, and 6 deaths. With a 29 killstreak.

I dunno how I did it, but I did.

Also a question for you all, mostly for maid3n though seeing as he has the 360 version.

Okay, everytime I get the harrier strike, i get two kills with it, which unlocks the pavelow, and then i let those two kill some people for me ( I just hide in a corner and wait ) until I get the AC130.

My question to you, my friend says it doesn't work like that on the 360. But he also says it might be because he gets the AC130 and all that air support from crates, can it make a difference?

On 360, if i get 5 kills and get a predator missile, get one kill and get the airstrike, and then get 5 more ofr chopper gunner etc. that all works - kills from killstreak rewards count towards your streak. Things you get from crates also count, but only if you get them without dying. If you call in a crate and get an AC130, but die before you pick it up, then when you respawn and get it, the kills won;t go to your killstreak.

Actually, having tried it: if you get an ac130 from a crate, it will not count to your killstreak. I would have had about 50 today if it did.... If you get the AC130 just from kills though, or if you call in a killstreak from getting the kills, they still count. It;s only if you get something from a crate that it doesn't add on.

that explains why my sentry gun doesn't count toward my killstreak.
but...I once got a predator missile...killed someone and got my precision airstrike standing by...

So in theory you should get Predator missile - Helicopter - Pave Low if you wanted to rack up a high kill streak? I do like those care packages though...

Well i used to use Predator > Precision airstrike > chopper gunner. That worked very well....

And i hate the M16 right now. Ive only used it a while, but it just doesn't work very well at all....

haha, just went on a massive killing spree with my grenade launcher on the SCAR (to unlock the shotgun) and got a callsign title "noob tuber"

Lol you guys... your confusing yourselves! Lemme show you:

You kill people; it goes towards your killstreak.
You die, you lose your killstreak.
If you get any killstreak that isn't Care Package or Emergency Airdrop, the kills you get with that killstreak also go towards your killstreak.
Any killstreaks earned with the Emergency Airdrop or Care Package doesn't give you kills towards your killstreak, it just adds to your XP.

37kill streak was awesome. Mostly using air support (Attack heli, pavelow and heli gunner.) I got killed while my pavelow was still going. I got 41-1. 41kd FTW!

Just to clear things up incase it still isn't... anything you earn from killstreaks such as predator missiles and helicopters go towards your killstreaks. HOWEVER.... anything picked up from a care package (be it your own or the enemies) DOES NOT go towards your kill streak. Even from an emergency drop or something.
EDIT: Oh missed Cog's post. Yup. Indeed. Righty ho then.

Anywho me and CnP have had an awesome evening doing a ton of spec ops on vet, Just over half way through now! Breach and Clear was awesomely epic! Hoping to get alot done tomorrow too
