Default "Joe Danger" - A new game by Guildford based Hello Games

"Joe Danger aims to recreate the childish joy of the first time you took a toy motorbike, doused it in lighter fluid, lit it, and launched it at high speed over your carefully constructed ramp out a second story window, while all the kids in the neighbourhood cheered below."

Came across this new developer from MM's twitter account. Their a group of 4 guys who came from various "big" developer backgrounds to set up their own company. "Joe Danger" will be their first game released.

Reason Im posting it here is that it seemingly will include a level editor and looks like it could be quite a bit of fun.

What do you guys think? I think it has potential.

    EDIT: From EDGE MAgazine -
And it’s not as if the edit mode has just been carelessly thrown into the mix. Levels are purpose-designed to require you to tweak them. Challenges include being given a ramp, 20 buses and the command to jump over them. How? It’s up to you to work it out and then perform it.

With a raft of minigames that include a six-player Road Rash-style combat jamboree, exacting time challenges and an after-crash mode that allows you to aftertouch Joe to cause as much damage as possible, it’s quickly evident that there’s a lot more to Joe Danger than meets the eye.

Lol, looks cute. It gives me an LBP, MNR, and Sonic vibe.

I guess 2.5D is the hot new thing, huh?

    Edit: Lol

Not only that but I just noticed the Managing Director is Irish so it can't go wrong!

EDIT: just updated the OP with some new pics and info.

Wicked, great to see these guys are getting coverage!

I have known the art director, Grant Duncan for nearly all of my 17 years on this earth.

He used to live just down the road from me, his Mum and mine are the bestest of friends!

In-fact, i can remember Grant having to come over to baby sit me and my sisters many times, he is really an awesome, creative guy. Oh and Grant, if by any chance you are reading this, im sorry for being such a pain in the butt all those years back! XD

Anyway, i can see only great things for these guys; 'Joe Danger' looks like a lot of fun and i cant wait to try it out!
    Oh, hai.

Just read about this in my edge masazine and thought I would come and see if anyone had posted about it

This really appeals to me as I love trial bike games and obviously love creative editing games.
It really reminds me of lbp and this could be awesome

EDIT: sorry for the double post, but new info

So looking forward to this game.

The version being played is for the xbox360 by the looks of it as when they look at the controls (1:49), it has a 360 pad.
Doesn't mean it's not coming to PSN also though (I guess???)
