Well I hope you come back bakscratch. I agree about there being nothing new around to play with.
I'm jealous of Hammer though, our laptop is to cruddy to run it, and the desktop has long since passed away

Thanks!

Online create? :P
Yeah, there isn't very much happening though, I must agree.
(Other than better and better levels... but, then again, in smaller and smaller amounts....)

Sometimes I wonder if I'm playing a different game to some people... There is more great content out there than I could possibly have time to play (and it's still expanding), and the existing tools open up more possibilities for my imagination than I will ever have time to create.
There is more going on in this game than any other game ever.-- ? --

Another creator leaving the community.... I wonder who is next. But honestly I'm surprised many people are still around a year after, that in itself is pretty surprising.

Just think of the up-side; This game kept you busy enough to keep you on for an entire year. Also, both online create and water are coming. Since the beta for online create is over, that should appear soon.
While the game has never been better for players thanks to creators like you, I guess there isn't any new toys to play with for the creators.PS3 Levels

Be well, hope you come back ...
... but off topic, could people maybe not create an entire thread if they change to another game just to announce it? Or perhaps we should make a sub-forum more fitting for these?
"Oh, Skycake. Why are you so delicious?"

Agreed, i haven't been on LBP for a while now either.
I guess we all play this game waaaay to much and all think at one time or another "Man, this is getting a little boring now."
It seems to be a quiet patch for LBP at the moment and with new releases on the horizon such as MW2 and Assassins Creed 2 i can only see it getting quieter.
Believe me though, when you return from your break, you will remember why you used to love it so much.
Oh, hai.

But the main thing there are no bew community lvl apart from races and challenges.
No one has any more ideas, do you have any more ideas (not for OC or water)

Hmmm I'm in a kinda similar position. I don't find lbp boring but I am spending less and less time on it as I'm teaching myself C# and XNA Games Studio. After I'm done with sequels to my (only 2! I'm so slow) levels...I think I will give lbp a rest for quite some time...at least lbp on ps3. I always seem to find time for portable gaming so psp lbp will probably satisfy me until I'm ready to jump back in

Good luck with the map editing... oh and by the way...I have loads of ideas I'd like to try in lbp but I wont have the time.
Theres no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake

Yep, I've got quite a few new ideas for things that I've never done seen in LBP, hopefully in the next two months I'll find time to implement them. I've also played a few levels (new levels and betas) that were jam-packed full of stuff that I've never seen before.
There is plenty of stuff going on in the community if you look beyond cool pages.-- ? --

Yeah I'm with RTM - LBP is full of possibilities and ideas just waiting for people like you (yes every single one of you!!!) to implement in the game.
So get creating!

I'm very sorry to hear that mate

You've probably been the person I've played LBP with the most. Ever since the golf contest and we had our lovely little clubhouses, fighting for the most plays (and you stealing my stickers
)
There was AOTECFOS, that was funny as hell, no? Rushing to get them published at the same time...
All the testing we've done for each other...the number of times you played my level and it kept breaking, you filmed it...
And then of course, the glitch. That was quite a hectic day actually, I'd just come back off holiday and was settling down to play around from the new stuff from Cornish Yarg, when you go mental screaming about a glitch you found, which would soon make you famous.
And then we went nuts after the water announcement...you messaged me saying 'OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG' and I was like...HELL YES. And that water level, flying around on bits of sponge...
All those slapping pictures we took, all that raving about how **** Sony were for failing at the golf contest...that time we stickered the hell out of cogmonkey with History Pack stickers, the zombie pirate costumes...all those levels we played (and owned at).
...
A heck of a time. To be honest, I haven't played LBP in ages either, but I wouldn't have lasted as long as I did if it wasn't for the awesome friends I've made. But all good things must come to an end.
LBP will be a different place without you mate, or at least it would be if I still played it

Well, I definately hope you come back soon, bakscratch.
But I think that some time or another, there are going to be so many tools that bring so many more possibilities, that they'll never get old. And you can take that to the bank.

My guess is that we will see features such as online create and water implemented soon, maybe that will give you the desire to play. Personally, I spend so much time in create, that I'm always behind on the awesome levels that are coming out. So, when I get sick of creating, I play those cool levels. Then when I get sick of playing, I go back to creating. It's a vicious cycle that keeps me addicted!

I too think you are playing a different game to me. I can't get enough time to do everything I wanna do, I'm working on three projects, playing every decent level I come across and having fun with my friends. Theres at least two new exciting levels I play every day. There is way too much to do, more than any other game and I'm having the best time in the is game that I've had all year....

People on my friends list who don't play lbp are constantly sending me messages: "Are you not bored. How are you not bored??"
I don't know, but I just don't get bored, and they think I'm weird, but I continue playing.
